The full map is 42x60 inches / 106x152cm. You can print off individual sections as well, which are 7x10 inches fitted onto both A4 and US letter size sheets for your convenience. The optional grid is set up as 1 inch squares, and is perfectly suited for RPGs and wargames that use a 1 inch = 5 foot scale (28mm/30mm), and you can always adjust the printed size to virtually any gaming scale.

I'm considering printing this on 13"x19" (the largest printer I have) - but even then its 30 sheets!
I might bight the bullet and print it at formerly-Kinko's on a banner sheet. Might actually be a wash in terms of price, and it will fold up nicely without seams.

With 13x19 you should be able to do this in 18 pages easily, no? In the other thread, they're telling me the map is too small, so you're getting off easy.

Maybe I've got a problem with the posterizer I'm using. I was just trusting it to do the right thing. I'll double check. 18 is still a lot of paper/ink. :-) [Not that I'm complaining - I expect to get a LOT of use out of this map...

Instead of 'formerly Kinko's' you might want to go to a small commercial print shop and get it done in a more durable form than inkjet at Staples or whatever. As a map that can be rolled up and taken with you, I would think that durability would be an issue. Sometimes the mom and pop print shops can surprise you at what they can do and at what cost. I'd at least ask around.

Though I think I'll take Vermin King's advice and shop around for a printshop...

I think someone was mentioning in another thread printing such getting a print shop that can print it on vinyl. Not really my thing so I never looked into it.

My roommate ordered a vinyl banner recently. After a lot of looking he said this was the cheapest place and they seem to do a fine job on his banner which included a couple of his digital paintings. www.halfpricebanners.comLooks like it would be about $68 + shipping The material isn't perfect, it has a bit of that durable banner texture to it, but is otherwise all right and lays flat at least. The resolution of their printing seemed ok. You can probably call and specify exactly what you want and they might have some smoother material for all I know. edit: this place looks like it might be cheaper but I don't know anything about them. www.bannersonthecheap.com/edit2: looks like you can also order laminated prints on photo paper but it is more expensive. It also probably won't lie flat like vinyl.

I had half price banners make Blood Bowl mats for me in the past. They look great and are quite durable.

Hi,
Nice floor maps, I could have done with some of these when I were a lad. Back then it was some basic paper house from GW and some rather badly flocked chip board.
Now those were the days.

Adam, do you still play BB? I'm thinking about creating a fantasy football mat and would love your input.

This large printable map is a beautiful surface for building the seedy side of a medieval town, Victorian neighborhood or steampunk metropolis. It's easy to print in one piece at your local shop, or in sections on your desktop printer. An optional 1-inch grid is included, and this map is tileable in the sense that you can choose any edge of the map and it will "wrap" around to the opposite side. That means you can start with any section you like and expand it from there, and with a little bit of planning it's possible get several unique 36"x36" maps from this one kit.
