How many times do you normally print and build a Multi-Layered model?

The most I have done is twice, which I have done on four occassions.
1. One of your buildings in brick and then in wood.
2. One of your buildings clean and pristine and then with weathering and use.
3. An automobile in two colors.
4. Sirrob's dunebuggy in racing and military form.

I'd say for a Multi-Layered PDF model probably around 2-3 times for one model, but I think a lot of it depends on the model too and what I'm using it for. If it's something like a vehicle, prop, or figure then it usually will get printed more but if it's a building then less due to I like multiple different style buildings than the same building different textures. That's just my personal model use tho.

Most so far is seven for the 'corner ruin' which makes up a lot of our Mordheim setting. THat's not including the crosspiece ruins which I we've used lots more of. Bigger ones like the church I've only done once though. On average we've got each ruin twice (sometimes mirrored). In two different finishes.

I'd also say around 2-3 times. I have planned printing several cabins and longhouses to make up a small village but that hasn't happened yet.

Usually twice, with the options I like most. Only rarely once (the village chapel, willow brook inn, west gate and inventor's house, all of them rather large or unique models) or more than twice.

I can definitely see the use of different layers on the ruins to produce several ruin structures. I look at multilayer pdfs as more of a way to get the model to look how I want it to look rather than to have more than one model off one purchase. It sounds like most people feel the same way. At least so far.

Probably twice.
I like the layers for the purpose of matching a building to a theme. It seems like in most medieval towns all the buildings are built from similar materials. I like to keep that in mind when I build my structures.

I have bought some but never actually made one yet, I'm just odd in that my curiosity exceeds my needs

It depends on the model. I have made MANY of your low walls. But that is walls... As far as larger models (any, layered or no), I generally only build one. If it is a simple model that still looks good, and there would be a need for multiples (like vechicles, for instance), then I would make as many as I need. In ERA OF WAR, I have about ten core armies with a detailed color scheme to represent them. I have built a few of the smaller vehicles (like Squirmydad's Recon Hover, TOPO's Yellowjacket Light Hover Tanks, and quite a few of Glenn's models, just to name a few). I REALLY like your buildings (like the clock tower, for example), but right noe I don't need more than one of each. The larger models I will only build one of each (like the East and West Gates. Just because of space restrictions). I don't know if this is much help, if any, but it is MY answer.

Usually twice, but on occasion three times. I should mention that I like the optional layers because I make interiors for them as well, keeping the window and door placements the same but changing the textures and then printing them mirror-image for interior walls. And I modify the structures, such as making your longhouse into a two-story Town Watch building. Dryw the Harper

Given that I have purchased all your ruins and medieval buildings, I'm generally building one. The generic ruins generally get more, as well as the walls. Multiple models include the smuggler's rowboat and the guild hall (no particular reason, I was in a building frenzy that day).
I suppose I could exercise some self-restraint and purchase fewer models and print more variants, but I can see no good reason to deprive myself like that. ;D
