Hey everyone, I sure did pick a good week to be beta-tester!! ;D Here is: Johan "Dragnoz" Kruger's Gods of Steam Sets One and Two (Desktop Wargames.com) Eric "Squirmydad" Brown's Steam Tower (Mayhem in Paper) Sam "Sammo" Mossman's R.A.P.T.O.R. (Moss Games) The Dutch Barn from Dave Graffam Models wasn't a tested product, but it was a good backdrop! All of these products are available now (or maybe tomorrow) at RPGnow.com. Thanks for your attention! David

Really impressive work here!
Additional "bonus": this scenery is build using CW forum members products only (so perhaps I should PM/ask you could you possibly beta-test some of my incoming 2.5D projects:)

No need to ask me privately... I LIVE for this stuff! You can email or PM me anytime you have a project that needs to be proof-read, play-tested, or test-built. (I know I have a lot of type-o's when I type here, but I REALLY am good at it). Some of the people I have done this kind of work for is (in no particular order, and I am sorry if I forget anyone): David Okum David Graffam Adam Souza Squirmydad Sammo Paper Make iT! Dragnoz AoM (he isn't here much, but was on Ebbles forum a lot) Tommygun (and he did somethings for me, as well). ...I am sure there are more, but they escape me at the moment. So, yes, I am ALWAYS available to do ANY test work. I also will give you feedback and reviews if necessary. I keep all "negative" feedback personal so that way you can address it without everyone reading it. Thanks for considering me, if nothing else!

Well, it is too bad that my camera (cell phone) doesn't have a flash on it. Most of the detail is lost on this set of figures. (I used Dave Graffam's Dutch Barn again as a backdrop). Here is the army (broken down by squads, starting front/center, 2nd row left, and then 2nd row right, working my way out). COMMAND SQUAD Wulf von Schlitt (Commander) - Power Sword & Long pistol Guards - Grenade Launcher (2) and Combi-pistol (2 - Long pistol/bayonette) ELITE SQUAD BETA Grenade Launcher (3) Long Pistol (2) Sword (1) ELITE SQUAD ALPHA (Grenadiers) Grenades (3) Knives (3) HEAVY SUPPORT (1) Gatling Cannons (3) INFANTRY (Foxtrot) Grenade Launchers (4) Flame-thrower (1) Sword (1) INFANTRY (Delta) Grenade Launchers (5) HEAVY SUPPORT (2) Steam Tower * FAST ASSAULT (1) Jump Troopers Long Pistols (2) Flame-thrower (1) Short Sword (1) FAST ASSAULT (2) Jump Troops Sniper Rifles (2) Long Pistol (1) ALL figures were designed by "DRAGNOZ" with the exception of the Steam Tower, which was designed by SQUIRMYDAD. Thank you for your attention, David

These days I was working short days... I promised my wife I would have the yardwork done before she gets home with the kids... I better hurry! I actually have some other pieces I want to add to the army, but I need to keep it balanced... I will have to point this army up now that I have it divided into squads. I love the fact that my "leader" has that sword thrown up over his shoulder. That was the point when I said, "Oh HECK yeah!" Very cool stuff! ;D

Thanks to the wonderful skills of these talented artists, I can present pictures like this... I will post links later (when I have more time)... Contributing artists: David Graffam (Spaceport Tiles/ Atomic Highway) Sam Mossman (R.A.P.T.O.R.) Parduz (Skullbots - armed with weapons from Sam Mossman) Glenn Williams (Comm Array) It appears that Dave and Sammo's figures are attacking Parduz and Sammo's figures in a base built by Glenn and Dave...

You took the words out of my mouth... (well, kinda). Maybe Dave's Atomic Highway gang is working for S.E.T.I. and their mission was sucessful! "We finally found them, what do we do now?"

I was fortunate enough to do another beta-test for Squirmydad. Here is his new Steam Tank... I love it! I wanted to post something to show scale, so here it is with Sanity Studio's Orcs. This thing is VERY sharp, and should be available from RPGnow.com *soon.* I can't recommend this enough... the Orcs are available at the home page here, and you get a baker's dozen of these fellas in multiple colors (via layers). You can also pick up the Steam Tower available now.

Here's another shot of these models along with Ashton Sperry's Lithorians. It is funny how these figures actually look 3D in these pictures. Take that GW!

Well, nothing in this pic is a beta-test, but it was pretty fun. This picture features Glenn Williams's PIPELINE (another modular set of terrain that I am sure people have overlooked. It is a very nice set, and like his Tango Prime and Lima Bases, they can go on and on until you run out of ink, then then some more). The figures are some random ones from Jim Hartman, Adam Souza, Dave Graffam and me... Great fun and greater possiblities!

One of the best things about Glenn's PIPELINE is that it breaks down easily, and can be reassembled in a matter of minutes. (With some of my other models, when they break down, you need a lot of glue to rebuild them).

These are some figures that Adam Souza drew, and I colored them. I used my 2.25D technique on these guys, so they bodies are ")" shaped with their arms folded out. Even the "Assassin" has a ")" shaped body. I tried it, and it REALLY gave him an extra layer of depth. Thanks for your work on these Adam! ;D

Yeah, you are right. It is more of a gallery of stuff I have been building the last couple weeks. Since I am not able to produce my own things right now, I am working on getting my list of things not built completed. It started out as a thread about things I have been beta-testing, but I figured I could throw in other things that I am working on. There will be a LOT more on here as time allows.

I know this thread is about beta-testing, but this *kind of* fits within the limits.... In case you aren't familiar with MONKTARAZ's Dwarven Gyrocopter, you can find it here: cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=newartists&action=display&thread=3753Anyway, I built the thing (eventhough I was technically out of ink, so the colors are a little off), and I have got to say that it is an awesome model! It was VERY simple to put together, it was well-designed, AND, it looks amazing when built. I put one of Dryw the Harper's Imperfect Dwarves in the cockpit, because he was one of the few without a tool or mug in his hand, so I figured he wasn't on break from the mine, and sober enough to fly. Anyway, a great build!

It went together like butter. Very easy build, and looks great. Simple components, yet very well thought-out.
