Thank you, Darkmook. Great idea! Also, OkumArts gave me the go-ahead. Big Jim said I can use ANY of his stuff (which is like 75% of it) as long as Nik doesn't care. Sorry I guess I never responded, I thought I had... You can use the Sanity Studios/ One Monk stuff just don't re-apportion the copyright (aka release it under a different copyright). For example: "Copyright Sanity Studios used with permission" Now get crack-a-lackin' on this project! I want to see it! ;D

Kil, if you need ahand setting up a template in mtg I dont mind helping out. I've part built 2 custom sets including custom rulesets etc in mtg
One was a tabletop scifi rule set defiance but I hit a snag with the scripting language just being slightly to limited to cope or maybe it was that the rules were to complex....
Second one I started was for flying lead and sobh et al but I never finished it...I should get back to that...
Offers there if you can articulate what you need on a card I can probably knock a simple ccg thing together in a week or two. It greatly simplifies card creation and printing.

I suppose that with "mtg" you mean MagicSetEditor (MSE2)?
I worked with it.... it is really hard, imho. It WAS a great stuff. Right now it suffers a bit of "non-maintenance" (tried to build a style on a 600dpi card background, and it was a pain).
The whole "scripting" stuff is a mess, to me: it may be that i, as a C++ programmer, i'm become used to strict rules and syntax,so the "loose" way of MSE2 and the inconsistency of some things makes me feel lost.
But it is still the best option for card customizing.

This idea is all but dead (at least for the moment). Remodelling my house has been my sole priority for the last few months... Not sure when (or if) I am going to be revisiting this.
Many people gave me the "go-ahead" including Mr. Hartman (which pretty much opens the flood gates").
Thanks for the support with this. We'll see what happens...
