Looking good! I am thinking of building these as a Dark Ages village. I just have NO TIME these days. They do build very quickly. I'm going to put a square of earth texture under each building, so that I can pick them up and reveal the interior. The children and the old will be hiding in the long-house as the lycanthropes attack. So, if they manage to get into the building, I'll lift it so show the packed interior.

Okay, here are some in-play shots. The party arrives in Silver Lake to discover that the village has been attacked the night before by lycanthropes, and they anticipate another attack this night. So the PCs organize a defence of the town, setting up stakes and fires to channel the attackers. Three villagers died in the encounter, but it could have been much worse.

I've been busy with downloading the Laketown houses and terrain now that I've gone over to the SEA SIDE
With working on getting myself organised to become a paper shipwright I need to have somewhere for ships to unload and dock so it seemed to me that a Laketown type model would be spot on to fulfill that role.
I wonder how Grendelsmother is getting on with his own model of Laketown.

Yeah, most of these links are to dropbox files that don't exist any more. I don't know enough about the Wayback Machine to recover anything from there, but we should try to recover any files we can, and archive them somewhere if possible.

I've sent Shawn an email. Volunteered to help put his downloads back in order, either at his site or post them here

I've sent Shawn an email. Volunteered to help put his downloads back in order, either at his site or post them here Hey verminking, Sorry i didn't get back to you on that...was kinda distracted with other stuff. I'm pretty sure everything is back up and running on my blog site now. I'm going to start putting more stuff up again...back in the mood for paper models... But if you want to back up my stuff here...just in case Google docs/drive decides to pull a dropbox and start declining public downloads, then I'm OK with that. GM64

I've been enjoying this model immensely. NEVER STAND UP IN A CANOE!!!!!! I know, right? The players would probably have less problems if they just sat down. Seriously though, this is a fantastic model: easy to build and looks wonderful on the table.
