Many of you would know Jan Rukr from Aliens Papercraft, but he is on a third site now. www.alienspapercraft.com/main.html This can be found under Modely, as well as this one I don't know how many of his apc's and other stuff I've given away, but these look awesome, as well.

New AstroRacer model. This makes four that I've found on the internet so far.

I've decided that maybe reducing these wasn't such a good idea. That last one was a bit fiddly. Added another post to give the link to the other two available AstroRacers. www.mpmpm.cz/en/download.htmlEagerly anticipating this one

If you hadn't noticed, I am a fan of Jan Rukr's models. I've done most of his models (at least one color scheme any way) from his LV-426 project, and several models from his bonus themes. You can find them here: aliens.humlak.cz/ . I've done everything from the Astro Racers series that is available from his new site www.alienspapercraft.com/main.html and the two Astro Racers from paper museum site www.mpmpm.cz/en/download.html . My first disappointment. The Raven helicopter I've got about 2/3 done today and it is back heavy. I've never had a balance issue with any of his models before. If you decide to build this, put a little weight in the nose. I still have those little wings up front to do, so hopefully I can find something to fit in there or the weapons packs under them to even things out. Just thought I would pass that on. EDIT: Weight issue resolved. Excellent model. New model is a District 9 Mech

Excellent day turned into a frustrating day with my delving into Gimp, but this definitely brightened it back up. The Lambo II Astro Racer is up! A bit too late to build tonight, but I know what I am going to be doing while watching football tomorrow ... According to the ABC website, it looks like the next one up is the Venture Blade. Does anyone here know how to get the ABC models other than the ones that some of the designers post? www.abicko.cz/kategorie/550/3d-modely

I'm going to make a mobile out of the set so I print them off at 2 pages per page. When you build them at 73% of normal size, they are very sturdy little models.
If you know the locations of any of the others in this series, let us know. Thanks

Yep, I've got those, too. I started doing them when there were only the first one at that site and the two from the museum.
I've been told that some of the other models 'may' be found elsewhere, but I haven't found them. I do keep track of the ABC site, where these are having initial release. He puts the models on his site a month after they are in ABC magazine.

This brings Jan's AstroRacers up to 23 flyers. Jan is also working on a highly detailed 1/24 Utility Dropship and APC

That is so very cool. I forget. Were the original LV-426 models at 1/96?

Here's the Decon Unit A39 in some far off frontier spaceport. A Federation crew and klingon pirates are having a face-off. The feds won, but they had to trow a shuttle at the klingon boss.

Okay, I knew Jan was a great artist, but take a look at the artwork he did for the Czech Republic military... I've been a fan of nose art since I was a kid, but this is crazy (but totally awesome)

Evidently, Jan, his brother and another guy did all the prep and paint work. I wonder how long it took them ... and how long it took to design what they were going to do

Seems the links to the #200 and #202 models aren't working anymore. Anyone got another link to them?

Thanks VK. That was the last 2 I needed to complete the collection as of now. Now I just have to wait for the rest of his collection to be done.

Generally, the illustrations do a good job showing the build order. If you have problems on them, there's a good chance I've built them. Ask away

Ask away I think I can handle the assembly with just the illustrations, but thank you for the offer. Right now, they are on the back burner. I just got my cutfiles for Armor Grid: Mech Attack and that is what I plan on working on for a bit.
