Somehow it seemed like the right time to do some more paper minis...
So I've started basic work on Kobolds. So far Kobold mine slaves who will go with some mine workings tiles, but soon enough there will be a set of KLA (Kobold Liberation Army) freedom fighters with their banners and slogans...

I understand that kobold tastes a LOT like chicken... much tastier than rat-on-a-stick!

Preliminary Kobold designs are up. I'll probably be doing some more to tie in to specific tiles. I know I want to make a 3D Kobold pushing mine cart - similar to Heave and Strain the gobbos carrying the crate in the Store Room set.  |

I went to photobucket to look at the Store Room set and couldn't find it. I notice there you call these 2.5 Kobolds. How does one give them the extra 0.5 D?

Yeah, the idea with the mine carts is to build them 3D, basically like those crates, but with wheels drawn at the bottom. One or two will have a Kobold pushing them. I intend to have rails on the mine tiles, so you could limit the movement of the carts to only on railed squares. Of course, the Kobold can abandon the cart, which would just mean replacing the cart with a free standing cart and a free standing Kobold figure.
