Grolg's Feast started life as Phoofbum's Feast... a game about halfling cooks. Then I realises goblin cooks are a much richer comedy mine... In Grolg's Feast, rival players attempt to create the best feast and avoid being eaten by the cruel Orc King Grolg The Unfeasibly Smelly, lord of all Scrundor... Players collect and tarde recipe and ingredient cards and play terrible events against one another as they strive to make the best food... At present I have the rules basically working and tested once. The enourmous number of cards requiring art is more of a hurdle. I am plugging away at it, but there are about 30 different ingredients alone... I've been testing it out with simple cards made in word... Here's a peak at some proper cards anyway.

note the recipe card is not complete - the 0 in the score area will eb replaced with an actual score. I did that one up before I calculated the scores...

Designed two more cards last night, two of the wine cards. Only three more wine cards to go... And most of the recipes... And most of the ingredients... Ans all the special event cards...

Although Grolg the Unfeasibly Smelly, his cooks, or indeed any cooks are yet to make an appearance, I am currently running a play-by-forum RPG set in Scrundor with my school war-games club. It's very interesting looking at how 13 and 14 year olds approach problems...
