Medieval KnightsKnights Of Temple Set 1RPGnow link:www.rpgnow.com/product/105794/Medieval-Knights---Templars-Set-16 pages full with knights, squires and sergeants, Outremer guest knights. Total 86 high quality full front and back color minis including. Various poses, details and color schemes! All minis are 300dpi 30mm front and back full color artwork suitable both for RPG and wargaming. Hope you will find this set interesting. I'd appreciate if you could let me know if you would like other medieval sets from Permes? BTW you can use these figurines also for fantasy based games / scenarios - for example characters with red coats -- these are not stricte historical as Templar Knights wore white coats and cloaks with red cross then lower-rank soldiers (sergeants) - wore black or dark gray coats. However I figured that some more color differentiation wouldn't hurt as long as these are additional to historically correct figurines. This being said I must confess that I got also plans for stand-alone "Fantasy Knights" set as well. Most probably at least some figurines will be based on Templars - but with definitely different weapons, shields, crests, baners and emblems and of course much more colors variations... Deus Vult! Download and enjoy!Mesper

I, for one, would love to see you do more sets. I know you have some really cool creatures (like that lizard thing) that I would love to see some "Dark Knights" mounted on.
"Dark Knights:" Soldiers wearing black, dark grey and red armor that serve pagan gods and would rather fight along-side Orcs, than to fight them.
I am heading over to pick this set up now (as I do with all of your other sets).
Thanks for these, and it is SO good to see you back to work with so many cool sets.

I just got the Templars and am certainly impressed with them. I'm anticipating the next two sets so I can field a complete force of them.
At some point, I would like to be able to build medieval baggage trains to go with my armies.
Eisenstein's "Alexander Nevsky" is one of my favorite films, even though that was the Teutonic Knights rather than Templars!
Have fun! Steve

I..."Dark Knights:" Soldiers wearing black, dark grey and red armor that serve pagan gods and would rather fight along-side Orcs, than to fight them. Quite interesting idea, will consider it - thanks! At some point, I would like to be able to build medieval baggage trains to go with my armies. That's another one nice idea! You'd be probably surprised with almost immediate response - so please check up this/new/ thread: cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=mesper&thread=4169&page=1#44491Eisenstein's "Alexander Nevsky" is one of my favorite films, even though that was the Teutonic Knights rather than Templars! In fact Alexander Newsky defeated in Pelpus Lake battle Livonian Order - although formaly branch of Teutonic Knights Military Order since 1237 (formerly Livonian Brothers of the Sword also known as Christ Knights). Regarding Teutonic Knights - they took big role in Poland's history. Couple of centuries of cruel war! But ultimately they were severly defeated in battle of Grunwald (1410) by Polish and Lithuanian Commonwealth (Youp, kinda medieval early EU version:). It is considered as biggest late-medieval chivalric battle with ca. 50K combatants total, mostly all mounted! It was huge victory of Polish king Jagiello. Over 8K Teutonic and guest knights from almost all over Europe died - including Order's Grand Master Ulrich Von Jungingen and almost all of the high-rank order's officials and knights! It was decisive battle and beginning of Teutonic Order decline. I've published couple of publications (with text, graphics, maps and of course minis -- 60mm though) dedicated to Grunwald battle and Teutonic Order history. Some previews: BTW: right-most figure on 1st picture got specific "rounded" crest/panache on helmet - which was typical for early period Livonian Brothers - as you can see it in Einstein's picture. However at the time of Grunwald it wasn't used except some ceremonial/official occasions and only by highest-rank order members like pictured here Komtur perhaps.

Love the figures (and once again you impressed me with your knowledge of history).
Make sure to add the "king" in your next set. It looks AWESOME!
