Hi, everybody! My project "Chronicles of Theyra" gets new live! Second edition! A lot of new minis: more horsemen, more cavalry (these things are different in Theyra ;D), warbeasts, robots, more blackjack and... so on. We are open for new ideas, for YOUR ideas! New warriors, personalities, magic... everything! But the best project trait is absolytely free figures! So, the first poster is here! Soldiers evolution! First set - Krakov horsemen (Kossak, "Steppe wind" and skirmisher) and adolescent (I didn't find good English word for "Îòðîê" ) infantry (scouts, hunters, srearmen, axemen and armored peasants) Faithfully yours, Alex

Unfortunately, I have a busy period and I can't completely follow the news here. I apologize with you for this and for not having written to you. but I try to keep track of your works best that I can. I'm sorry.
I read your request for help but as you know I don't have any skills to do it. I am sorry and sad about this, but it is.
Now ... ;D
There is a great visible improvement in your figures. They are definitely better than the previous figures but I like very much already older ones. You already know this.
I hope that this second version is also the final version, otherwise there is a real risk of having a very long time for your beautiful project.
Ciao

Hi, everybody! Emmm... So, I have one little question/problem. And this problem (future of Theyra) depends of your answeres! So, as you can see, this guy ==> Have pretty... unusual horse (this horse from my nightmare ) And this horse have some ability, but I can't choose what ability this creature should have. Now I have two variants: 1) Scream! => 2) Molren hoofs => What do you think, what kind is better? Or use both of them? If you have your own ideas, I glad to read them!

Not knowing what Molren hooves are, I'll go with Scream

I like Scream! Lots of people don't know that horses can scream!
Have fun! Steve

Thanks to your opinions! I decided to use both. ;D But only screaming will be in the first set. Oh, about the 1st set... Here it is!

Very great minis, Alex. As usual, they are excellent quality figures. I apologize for my absence but I have not forgotten you, your big project and all the other great guys in this forum. Unfortunately, I have some serious personal problems in my family during this time and my free time is almost to zero. But it will end. OT: I take this opportunity to apologize with Adam (darkmook) too. As soon as possible I'll finish my work about his projects. Sadly I can't positively respond to your request for collaboration because, as you already know, I have no skills. But I can participate in some small fee for your work if you tell me how. Now ... new figures ... certainly a great improvement. But ... just my little impression, too fast and without value, there is perhaps more staticity in some figures ( however great figures, no doubt ). Ciao

I'm so glad for you! So, I don't need much. Some links (especially for forts or siege weapons), may be just some ideas (personalities, warriors or banners). Everything that seems interesting. I'll try to do something. Hah! ;D I'll show it just a bit later. There will be three exosceletons with big guns! ;D

Another preview (even though I didn't understand well of what ;D ;D ;D ) A my doubt, I am incompetent sorry, for Alex. Why figures have, almost all, the yellow skin? And they don't have a color skin as those behind? ( more pink or paler as the historical Rus )

Today, perhaps, there will be new figures. Now in Italy is almost noon, but in Russia should be much later. I don't know. In the meantime (I'm sure Alex doesn't get angry if I place them also here ) ... Today his project is one year old. And he has posted many preparatory sketches ( I don't know well if they are all new or they are his project's history for an entire year, from the beginning. Anyhow ... ) ... Anyway ... they clearly show his hand, his ability, and especially his ideas about this project. Great! It is indeed a pleasure for my eyes watching them.

Ok, my lack of knowledge of the Russian language, which I translate in English to try to understand in Italian, is making me lose some information. I suppose. 1 - Now the two new Krakov sets ( heavy/veteran infantry I suppose. Perhaps and/or probably "boyars" ) have been posted in the topic on the russian forum. www.forum.ohobby.ru/index.php?topic=4933.120direct links to images: radikal.ru/F/s59.radikal.ru/i166/1211/a7/fde7d124d495.jpg.htmlradikal.ru/F/s019.radikal.ru/i625/1211/18/43e54e747946.jpg.html2 - But the "work in progress" heavy infantry with sword ( above ) are missing and the two unfinished characters ( commander and hero ) are lost ( for now ). 3 - The original images of the two sets are in jpg format e not in png ( best format for this, imho ). [edit] ;D ;D ;D I can't follow this guy. Sorry. While I was writing this postm he, in russian forum, put another new modified set. This time is a cossacks' set ( Krakow light cavalry ). ( direct link: radikal.ru/F/s001.radikal.ru/i196/1211/29/67046ffe3dbd.jpg.html in new jpg format ) There are 5 new poses (out of eight figures. But in the previous set cossacks were only 4) but there is not the charging lancer ( so 9 figure in all ). ... And the heavily armored horseman from first set ?

Hi, guys! Today I thought, that I hadn't written here too long. So, I wrote "cardboard-warriors.proboards.com" and... Rhannon, I really glad, that you watch my project! And you are really quick man! ;D It was about 0:15 am then I released theese pictures and minis (I live near Vladivostok, it's located in far-far East), and I just hadn't time to write here. And these scetches are the first materials about Theyra. And yesterday It was the anniversary of the first picture (this is it: ) So, new minis. These figures are just "preparatory" , because my soft started a riot against me. ;D And are ready, "work-in-progress" soldiers only that oldman and big guy with club. And there are 11 kossaks. All new minis are here (png) : (boyars), only 5 poses now: PS: May be because they aren't historical Rus? ;D And "pink" skin of "behind-guys" is just poorly painted shadow...

... Rhannon, I really glad, that you watch my project! And you are really quick man! ;D ... Some time ago I had much free time and I was (and still I am, but not follow him anymore. I only pay my share of the costs ;D ) admin and newsver for an italian videogame site ( and forum ), so over the years I have refined my technique to search for news. But I follow your project only because I like it very much. Very much. I like all paper figures, but I think that in Europe there are few authors (OK maybe you do not live in Europe, but I, in my ignorance, I regard the whole Russia as part of Europe. Sorry. ) who have or are creating your own personal style. Your project for the fantasy, and the Tomoko's works for the sci-fi. I'm not saying that your works are better than others ( Mesper for paper soldiers and paper minis in a traditional old european very high quality. Darkmook for his modern horror style. "His Excellency" for the figures' peculiarity and historical accuracy. And and some others with less works ... they are all great authors with top quality works ) but imho are certainly at least equal in quality. But you two are creating an original world, with rules, history, backgrounds, paper figures.. that I like very much. and finally not GW style. So my enthusiasm has become intrusiveness. For this I apologize Alex. Right. Sometimes the most correct answers elude me because I'm too close. And I can't see them. They are not historical rus but they are fantasy Krakow soldiers. ;D If you have colored them on yellow is because they are yellow. I did not understand this. This solution was too immediate for my skills. ;D ;D ;D Thanks for all replies Alex. And for your patience with the elderly. by returning to new figures ... they are very great and png format makes them complete quality and value. Thanks.

Now I'm waiting for the crossbowmen. But crossbowmenae there! These guys: I am sorry. But my browser will not let me see them. Here I do not see the figures, and, in the post above, I only see four figures. In your 4shared folder there are 17 files. 12 png files 1 jpg file 3 rar files and 1 file without final extension. It is named Стрельцы.if I download it and rename it Стрельцы.png I have a perfect png file ( 1,3 MB ) with crossbowmen.

Ravens, Sword old man and Guardians are good options for the Krakow's elite infantry. Andfigures are good and dynamic as usual. Thank you, Alex. Now I think that soon there will be new factions ... ;D Even if there is one curious in your images folder. Ciao. PS: Mechano Empire Army greets you.

Of course!... Probably... May be... I hope... I'm not quite sure... Oh, never mind. ;D This is a good question! I gust tried to translate their Russian name with saving of.... meaning? Also, my fantasy isn't so good to make good and interesting name for such warriors in English. ;D

Old men are men who have lived a long time. Veterans are men who have seen and survived battle. It seems more appropriate.
