Hello everyone, I didn't see a place for new member to say Hi, so I'll go ahead and post here instead. About me, I'm a 21-years old IT student in Vietnam. I've came to registered on Onemonk about a year ago, been lurking since then, and recently took on creating paper miniature as a pass time hobby. Currently I am creating generic fantasy army sets (I don't know much of other fantasy standards like Tolkien's so "generic" might be wrong here ;) ) Anyway. I've completed one set about happy jolly tree-folks on a carnival, which can be viewed here. docs.google.com/file/d/0B-KLIp1nVVoZNHpObk1pWUtNT1U/editThe other set, which I am working on are shamanic tribes-people. The printable pdf will be made after I've complete the set. The models, rejected-scrap and WIP are dumped here imgur.com/a/Lcng5Please be welcomed to leave a comment, also I would love to get some ideas on designing the next set since my creative juice is running out fast. :P

Those are really cool and original. For more ideas, what are the forces that oppose or threaten your current lineup of miniatures?

First off... excellent!
Secondly, I would really love to see your figs with a thicker border and tabs so we could do the 'onemonk' treatment on these bad boys!
LOVE your style!
Can't wait for more!

WOOOOOOWWW :o I love them. I could´n see or download yet the PDF because of my slllloooooowwwwww internet connetion :-*. But i love what i´m seening here. COngratulations!! ;) Thankyou! I am a big fan of your work also :D Those are really cool and original. :) For more ideas, what are the forces that oppose or threaten your current lineup of miniatures? I'm thinking of the next set to be a ghastly knight order, but then again I have no ideas how a knight order works. Those, also I'm not very confident in choosing armory for my design :D First off... excellent! Secondly, I would really love to see your figs with a thicker border and tabs so we could do the 'onemonk' treatment on these bad boys! LOVE your style! Can't wait for more! onemonkeybeau I would love to! Is there a specific guideline or example?

You are getting very far with those LINES and MONOCHROME COLORS. That's marvellous, inducpham. Dynamic ('dancing') poses and well-chosen base colors, which are effective even without 'shading' tricks. Hm, I have to think about, why this works ... . Interesting themes and style/character design, too. Maybe I can see the 'Asian Influence' here - the Shaman skirt with this (beautiful) knot? Hulking and Ancient Jade Touched are really with those curling graffiti 'flames' ... . Thanks for sharing your fine art, inducpham.

Excellent ideas and execution! I totally agree. Yes, a superb quality work. Compliments. Unfortunately, like Javier, I can't view or download the pdf file but the image gallery says all about the quality of the figures. Greats, greats, greats. First set, reminds me, somehow, the sammo's woodwold boskers. I am glad that new users and artists taking part in this forum. Most of their work is already good at the start and the quality is always high. And the initial Jim's idea to turn a product only considered a substitute for another in a stand-alone product is still proving correct and farsighted after past years.

This was originally from 2012, but his imgur page was still alive when I checked last week so you can see a few of his other creations.

lol I guess I should've checked the dates... Don't worry about it. I'm sure the necro-threading I've been doing has thrown off a lot of people. I've just been poking around in the older parts of the forum to make sure that the good stuff doesn't vanish.
