Ok, luckily it can stay well in this hoard, so i "transferred" my skullbot from the Nov. Hoard to this. Here it is, in its 300dpi glory: It should be 48mm tall, using a 40mm base. I've not test build it, so if someone want to try... -edit- Mh... seems that Flickr is messing it. You will loose the right dimensions if downloaded from there. Where should i put my original PNG? I'd avoid using my dropbox 'cause, in case i'll clean it, then the images linked here will be all dead.... Also, being it made by vectors, i can share the black outline if it is of any use for the cut-files.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Can someone throw a few of these into a PDF file at this size, please?
I can see a bunch of these carrying the unused weapons from Sammo's R.A.P.T.O.R.s.
;D

Just downloaded! Heading to print them NOW! These are amazing!! I think that these are among the BEST of the figures I own! There are so many I consider my "favorites," and THESE are some of them. WONDERFUL! Thank you, my friend! ;D The color, the highlights, the shading... EVERYTHING! (Now, let me know when you are going to offer additional colors)!

Well..... thanks. (Now, let me know when you are going to offer additional colors)! This is how it was colored: Each shape have a hand-made grid, and each node of the grid have its own color. The "influence" of each node generate the gradient between them. To have the right "3D illusion", all the back shapes needed a different grid. So, i think the answer is "never": really it's a pain, also 'cause there's not automations in CorelDraw that allow, as example, to change a color in the pallette and have all his istances changed on the drawing. There's a "color find/change" function but it does'nt go deeper than the entire shape (i mean: the function does not parse the shape nodes). What i was thinking, given the totally unexpected feedback i got, was to eventually draw a "more serious" head (that skull was more or less a cheesy joke for the superheroes hoard...), but i still need a bit of courage to start it

WHOO-HOOO!!! The figure is a thing of beauty, that is for sure... but these colors! WOW! With Parduz's permission, maybe you can make a page of each of these like he did, but one color per page! I could make SQUADS of these!! ;D Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease....

LOL! Is'nt this a great community? Great job, Imntt Ok, before anyone spend time in it, tell me if my plan is worthy. I think i could: 1) drop the Creative Commons icon somewhere (in the white space) so no reasons to ask for my permission each time 2) make a version with open hands so if someone want to give it a weapon he could fold the fingers around the weapon to "fix" it to the miniature 3) try to produce a layered PSD file so the modders can change the colors of the single parts without bothering with selection tools. (not sure if this will works, if not i can export transparent PNGs for each layer) Just tell me if and what of these point are worthy waiting a day, and i'll do them for the final release.

THAT WOULD MAKE MY MONTH!!! If this thing had open hands (although I REALLY like the ones you have here... maybe just the RIGHT hand open, and the left the way it is), AND the layers, even I couldn't come up with any way of improving it, or asking for more features! I think that would be INCREDIBLE!!! So, once again... ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease....

Parduz, why not contact Claudio? I think this model would be an ideal candidate for infinite figure designer. There's a fair few of my weapons and things on there already. He's built just like a multi-part model kit, perfect for the concept

I could have missed something about how the designer works, but from what i've understood i don't see how it could work... i mean: the only things you could "move" are the arms at the shoulder joint. Otherways, the forearm and the hand is drawn in perspective, so you can't pose them. The legs also have a complex stucture shown in 3/4, so they're fixed too. The only way is to draw other poses, which i'll avoid like a plague

Definately on the legs, but I think you'd get a fair amount of pose out of the hands, arms, shoulders/chest. weapon swaps etc... Flipping the rear view arm over to allow it to carry a two handed weapon.

How about adding spikes ;D

With the Infinite Figure Designer, you could have the arms with the fingers open, closed, or even with weapons mounted on the ends of the arms in lieu of the hands. Also, you could choose from various "faces" and could have the spikes or not. (I personally LOVE them on the red and the black, but not on the other colors... that is just me). BTW, imnntt, You whip up a sheet of these to scale, leave the red and black ones with the spikes, and you will be my HERO! As far as the aspects of Shuffler, I was able to make over 25 weapons using various elements that Claudio has... the doors, for example are PERfECT for gun barrels! He even said to me, "You FOOL! You even used the mouse (from the computer)." ;D I miss designing... Hopefully soon....

I was so excited to start building these, I haven't even mounted them on the bases, yet! I used some weapons from Sammo's R.A.P.T.O.R.s set. These look VERY good together! ;D Attachments:

One trick I taught myself with Reivaj's AT-286, I bend the arms outward, and shape the body in a ")". This gives the figure a real 2.5D feel to it. This works VERY well, as you can see here! See, I told you I couldn't wait to get these printed... Great job again to Parduz (and Sammo) for your contributions... (Keep in mind that peanut butter and chocolate weren't always combined, but OH what flavor! Same here...) Attachments:

Great job, Kil. About me, i'm tired of this Bot ;D Links to: The open hand versionThe layered PSD which contains both versions. I've not tested them, so i hope they could be useful. Imntt, your mods are great! Do what you want and pls share them for the hoard. Really, i like your mods a lot. If someone want PDFs before the hoard release, pls someone do them... here it is 3am, i think i could quit for today Attachments:

I was thinking about making some heavier armed versions using some of the ARMOR GRID weapons as well... I think you might have heard about that, Dagger! I was also thinking that if I use the Armor Grid weapons, then the "spikes" could serve as supports for the weapons. The weapons would slip down between the two spikes, and they would be mounting posts. With THAT thought in mind, I couldn't see how you could have them without the posts/spikes! Parduz, thank you for not only coming up with this great figure, but for giving other the right to modify it and "play" with it. Thanks to you, too, Imnntt!! Great job to both you fine men!
