ERA OF WAR: CAMEL FAAV is the first 3D model offered by Grey Matter Games. This model has the unique way of being assembled as a 3D model, OR a 2D model. This is an industry FIRST! If you are looking for some models that are as fast on the battlefield as they are to build, then this model is for you! Another feature that this model has is in it's 3D version, there is a large bed (approx. 1 1/2" X 1") that can carry various miniatures, or other items. It is even strong enough to be able to carry METAL figures! (Don't believe me, there is a picture in the manual showing a metal figure and the wheels aren't even bowing)! This model is released in a single "light grey" model that would be easy to color if someone wanted one in a different colr scheme. Practical uses for the CAMEL: •Running items across enemy lines •Fast Assault choice for ERA OF WAR (or other table-top games) •Transport to recover an item or person of interest •Clearing rubble, terrain, wreckage or debris from roads •Removing small structures •Carrying soldiers into zombie-infested areas •Carrying zombies OUT of human-infested areas •Picking up milk from the supermarket ALL of this for the low, low price of just $1.75 USD! www.rpgnow.com/product/108263/Era-Of-War%3A--Camel-Faav?src=FrontPageThank you for your attention! I still hasn't bought it, but in the third page of the preview, above the model it says: "MIDIAN KNIGHTS PAGE THREE".

I've quick built a micromachine scale version (it stays on a SD Card) using standard papaer and it works!!. A bit hard to keep the model "squared" but it is really nice! To help about this (even in the original scale) i would have put the tabs on the "sides", to be cut away if not needed (if one wants to built the "flat version" he have to cut that lines anyway). Very nice model.... you're inspiring me: i have a couple of idea about things i'd like to build with paper.....but i fear my lack of focus on doing the same thing again and again....

The 2D/3D option is so simply and beautifully executed, it makes me jealous. Fine job.

You know what I liked the most? How it is easy to mod and color it: Attachments:

First off... WOW! "Ouch." I just had to pinch myself... I just got feedback from some of my "heroes" and it was all good. Parduz suggested that I line the models up vertically, instead of horizontally. That way, you only have to score once (or three times for flat-basing). I was going to do more color options and include weapons, but I honestly wanted to hear feedback first before I invested a lot of time into this. I did the color in a light grey, so changing the color schemes should be easy. The highlighting and shadowing are already there so it is just a matter of adding the color to the image, and the shadowing should stand. I am still in shock... I don't know which struck me more... the words "inspired," Glenn's comments, or the image of the Camel next to the Ebbles/Roe Jeep-Vee. (A little star-struck about that at the moment. I am sure Christopher Roe isn't as excited). Ok... I am going to consider this a "success." Thank you all for your feedback and support. I look forward to the upcoming vehicles...

I put this together late last night and I can't wait to use it in my Gamma World game. I'm going to put a turret on the top and do it up Rat Patrol Style! Great work. I'd love to see more vehicles for sure.

Finally built the FAAV. I noticed I misglued a few spots. Oops! I am hoping to make a few of these and mod them for use in my Gamma World game. Attachments:

I'm sorry, Dave. I, for now, have to skip this release. It 'a great model, but not all people are able to do little things like colors, add small changes ... as in the above pictures. I don't have ability and I can't, unfortunately for me.

@ Rhannon:
The Camel was designed as a "light grey" color so IF someone wanted to re-color it, they could. The one that OkumArts posted was the "release" version. The one that Hackbarth did was a re-color.
I myself am not good at re-colors, either... so I did that as one color... and made it light enough that if I wanted to drag a marker across it, then I could change the color that way. ;D

I read your message. I used it. Thank you. I just bought the camel faav. ;D PS: the Hackbarth one is very great.

I may do a tutorial on how to recolor the Camel, it is the easiest model I did this until now. Clean lines, well marked textures, perfect for beginners to mod.
