Thanks, would love to fight Indian War skirmishes. Not only of the 19th century but of the 18th too: Last of the Mohicans/ Tecumseh etc. But that does need some more minis and rules I am afraid.

I'm thinking of doing another battle report this weekend. Any requests as to whom should be fighting whom?

Do you use special software to make these ? I'd love to try transforming one of my play session photo reports into this format....

I use an iphone for the photos, upload to my laptop then use Comic Life to put them into a comic format.

Loving that Star Trek battle Report. I don't remember seeing that furry red shirt security/engineering miniature before?
that last panel on page 3 did they really interrupt the breeding? If so glad you skipped over that panel....

Going to run some more First Level Labyrinth Lord tonight. After this week marking and mark entry will be done and I am hoping I can get back to pumping out some sets of paper minis. I have two almost ready to go. Just so busy with real life stuff.

Okumarts - what template do you use for your ComicLife comics?

I just sort of drag one in and then tweak it so it works for me. I never use the standard templates 'as is'. I think the spacing is in the 00's Comic template section.

I have been so inspired by the comic battle reports I wanted to do one of my own. But instead of combat, I'm doing something more character development-based. This merges live gameplay with character backstory (and weaves it all into the campaign narrative.) Lets see what you think. First: Here's a link to simple HTML page generated by Comic Life, which will give you the page-turning experience: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3838990/The%20Summoning/index.htmlI'll reply to this message with clickable thumbnails on flickr...

Awesome! It's great to get a glimpse into other people's games. Did you take these photos as the game was going on or after?

Does the software let you use your own fonts or are you just limited to it's font library and does it have the ability to do splash pages? I am guessing you can import your own graphic elements above and beyond photos for titles and what not.

Did you take these photos as the game was going on or after? The photos with the PCs in them were taken at play sessions (some will be posted soon to their adventure log - I was waiting to complete the comic). The "sky" shots of the Rainbow Phoenix were taken as build shots when I completed the painting. Page 2 is special and contains a mismash of images found around the internet with my unl33t Photoshop skillz - with the exception of Shute's Character panel (and the front page banner) - which were painted by one of my player: about.me/zeke.garciawww.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-forsite-irregulars/adventure-log/illustrations

I think you can change colors, but I couldn't figure out how. Here's the link... comiclife.com/It's a bit clumsy (the image browser is painfully awkward), but I was determined and made it work.

I bought it, down loaded it now I am waiting for the email with my serial/activation key. I would think that would follow pretty quickly but it has been almost 30 minutes so far.
