Hey, guys. I wanted to share with you a preview of my next set, the Greenhold Infantry - 3 male and 2 female fighters wielding shields and swords. I think the white border makes the figures stand out more than the black, but let me know what you think. All feedback welcome. Cheers!

All my other figures are black edged, white wouldnt work for me. Otherwise I will take 2sets, plus one more of the archers.

Great artwork, but from you I'd expect nothing less!
I must admit, I do like the white, but I suspect that on the table black would work better because that white outline would be a little too conspicuous. Black also just has a more finished look to it.

Spontaneously (I watched them and archers together ) I prefer these. But is it possible an archers' update ? OT: in your online store, are there bases like these for sale? Now is the time for me. I hear people who have contacted me on this forum and then I put my order for three sets by type. Ciao

Could you offer it in two versions? White border and Black border?

I too would prefer a black bordered version.

Thanks for all your feedback and your compliments! It's very much appreciated. For those who want to order a set, I'll be sure to post an announcement when they're available. Thanks for your continued support! I must admit, I do like the white, but I suspect that on the table black would work better because that white outline would be a little too conspicuous. Black also just has a more finished look to it. That's a very good point! Could you offer it in two versions? White border and Black border? I could and I am definitely considering that. I might offer both versions to start and see which is more popular. Is this in a next set? That was actually an early design for the Greenhold Infantry, so he's not destined for a set. I should also clarify that that picture is a Photoshopped concept and not a photograph of an actual, printed and cut figure. In reality, I cannot achieve a border that thin and perfectly even (unfortunately). (-:

Oh, I bet there are folks here that could help you with that. I believe there is a tutorial for doing it quickly. I think he means the limitations of the cutting tool he uses in the manufacturing require him to build in more margin of error, and smooth off the curves a little. What's the reason for holding him back? The style's evolved away from that and he doesn't fit in anymore? If that's the case, I think you could still release him later on as a Hero unit... alternatively, offer him up as a free bonus download to the first 50 people to order a set or something!

Thanks, Kevin - that's exactly what I meant. (-: That was actually an early design for the Greenhold Infantry, so he's not destined for a set. That's a real pity. Thanks very much for the kudos! To explain, I ultimately decided on a "lighter" armour style for these particular figures to better reflect the wilderness/nature theme of their design, but I won't rule out the possibility of this earlier, more heavily-armoured figure getting reincarnated as a melee fighter of another faction. one of the reasons I wrote "Heretic" under my avatar is that I was never quite convinced about the "Black Border Dogma" and it may be now that it is just what I am most used to but I really think your new picture has convinced me that black is better.

Wow, I have to agree that the black background really makes the figures appear more 3D.

BTW I know your cutting process requires one long line. Did you ever try sending it up in the middle of the tab, over to one foot, up around the legs and back out nearly where it went in? If it didn't screw up regular basing they would be "Reivaj Base Ready."
