I was thinking...
I posted two griffins in "Codex Manesse - jousting knights" thread, but it's focused on a more realistic rendering of the period and they are not appropriate.
So, what do you think of some more minis of mythical or strange beasts coming from old codex in a separated thread?

I agree. I actually started collecting images from medieval manuscripts but I haven't finished "figurising" any yet.
