Just looking around. Maybe get a few Ideas. I don't know if I have much to contribute here but looks like you guys are having fun. My local comic store has a few folks that build game themed projects. I stop in once a week to get my fix of comics and they always want a tip or trick to help in their builds.
I don't think there will be a lot of interest in my projects but if you would like to see my lost in space or older real space and fantasy projects I would be glad to post them.
Fly Safe!

(Please) He is currently rebuilding his website, or rather, his kids are. So they have taken his wishes to simply have a site where he can show his models and people can download them into a nightmare of flash. It is turning into a nightmare or comedy depending on how you look at it

Hello, my name is Andreas, I'm from Germany. I'm in an "on/off" love for papermodels and figures for probably thirty years. I'm not a RPG gamer or dungeon guy, I prefer more the classical wargaming and skirmish games. At the moment I'm building figures from Antonhammer, Peter Dennis and Tomoko's Steel Warriors. Best regards, Andreas

HI Guys: John McEwan here. I have been a wargamer for over 50 years. I wrote and published the first SciFi miniatures game Starguard (the game that would not die) which is still going strong - currently in its 7th edition. For the past 26 years I have been full time employed as a designer and manufacturer of cast metal wargame miniatures and paper models. Under the publisher name of tin-soldier.com i.e. REVIRESCO, I have over 40 3 dimensional paper models on sale through Wargames Vault. Check out our paper and multi media kit line at: tin-soldier.com/papermodels.html

Wow! Don't know how I missed you over there. Are you on DriveThruRPG, too? That's the one I usually use.
I picked up some of your freebies ages ago, but have to admit I haven't been to your site in a long time.
Glad you could join us. It is always good to have a veteran paper modeler join us
While trying to transfer data exhumed from a dead computer last night, I found a lugger that I thought I had lost that I believe is yours. Thanks
EDIT --
Yes, it was! Fishing Lugger - tin-soldier.com is the file name.
I also believe in marketing. Go ahead and post links to your site and OBS pages in your forum signature. Free advertising with every post

Good Evening,
I briefly wargamed as a kid, a hundred years and a thousand miles ago. I was mainly a roleplayer though, using Games Workshop Dungeon Floor Plans and lead figures, before the switch to white metal. I was always a rubbish painter though!
In recent years I've been fascinated by all the material available online. I'm an inveterate purchaser of things on DriveThru that I couldn't afford as a kid. My interests are Old School and it was in that context that I started to pick up the odd free paper mini for run throughs of old dungeon modules.
By now though I'm buying full sets of figures, building terrain and looking up skirmish wargames rulesets on Wargames Vault.
I'm an addict I think!

Welcome. You will find many treasures here. The forum has one of the best search engines I've seen at a forum, and then at the top of the page there is a link to Downloads. That takes you to an archive of the Monthly Forum Hoards and work by many of the artists here.
From one rubbish painter to another, Have Fun

Hi! I'm Sevya. I'm trying very hard not to be one of the shy people squirmydad mentioned on page 1 of this thread.
I started gaming with the Basic set of D&D back in 19 mumble mumble. I focused on role playing and hex grid wargames for several years. After finding GW's Space Hulk at a con, I slowly shifted focus on miniature skirmish games. I found this site looking for ships for Sky Galleons of Mars. That game is currently my focus, but I'll probably wander around a bit.
I am currently a disabled veteran, stay-at-home dad, and part time home school teacher to two amazing daughters.
I've worked in fields where secrecy is required, so I'm not the best at opening up, but I'm good at answering questions. To quote Philippe Gaston, "Really, I'm a wonderful person!"

Oh dude, whuddup!
I'm Patĉjo (good luck figuring that pronunciation out). I'm very new to this kinda thing but I made some papercraft terrain from Fat Dragon' and Mr. Dave Graffam's free files and I'm pumped. But jumping into mini's is a little different of a job.
My game of choice these days is Kings of War, because I miss Pre-AoS-Warhammer. And I'm swapping to cardboard because it's gotta be better than plastic...

Hello Guys! My name is Dario and i live in Italy, quite close to Venice. I came in touch with this awesome community thanks to Shed: He shared on FB some of his amazing buildings and stuff for Carnevale the Miniature game, by TTCombat (https://carnevalegame.com/). I have to admit that i don't play any pure cardboard game (yet!) but i built during years a quite solid collection of cardboard scenery for wargames like Infinity, warmachine and now... Carnevale. In fact, i love this game so much that i decided to dive deep in it, collecting many factions and slowly building my own cardboard Venice. I'm trying to run a podcast as well (run with a terrible english.. apologize!) on Carnevale. You can find it here open.spotify.com/show/6izth854oSdEJLKSADaQC3?si=Dj2fmca4Q6-MSb9uUCA_Ww and on many other platforms, searching Monsters Behind the Masks. Sorry for the detour, let's go back to Paper Modelling! I'm mainly using Dave Graffam models for all the different riva (venetian name for walkways), campi (squares) and some special buildings, Fat Dragon for market stalls, TTCombat carboard scenery (this is cheating, but in my defence i have still to mod them, when i'll manage to have some spare time) and the new Finger and Toe Venetian building series. In a couple of months i hope to have a finished board to show you!
