Glad to see you made it over here, oldminer. This site has one of the best Search functions I have seen at a forum. If there is something in particular you are looking for, that is a great place to start. Or ask

Hello, I have been an avid gamer for 43 years now. I have played many various types of games, but my preferred choices are sci fi wargames, followed by fantasy and western. I hope to share my insights on games on this site and projects I have been working on.

Hello there I'm new to this forum but have been searching for anyone that could guide me to find places where I can find printable paper terrain and minis like fat dragon games for my DnD campaign ! I'm a dad of three and I love miniatures ,I've started a DnD campaign with some friends , but sadly I'm a busy dad now and dont have time to paint minis like I used too, so paper terrain and minis seemed like a good alternative! Thank you in advance for any advice , I'm new to forums in general as well lol .

I agree with the paper being less time-consuming than painting. And in many cases, you can do things in paper that are nearly impossible in other media. There are also things in other media that are nearly impossible in paper. I would suggest that you check out the Downloads button at the top of the page and use the Search function
Welcome, sir

Thank you in advance for any advice , I'm new to forums in general as well lol . You my friend have found yourself in the right place. I stumbled into stuff like FDG DGM, and WWG, somehow found my way here. The was just shy of a decade ago. Great, constructively helpful people, and tons of free stuff (monthly hoards, papercuts, and whatever people make and share). So search, and ask away. Go forth and peruse. Start each day with a bacon sandwich, a shot, and a cigar (I know that doesn't seem relevant, but it worked for George Burns (or at least until it didn't)).

Found you guys via Ebbles/Genet, via a youtuber called 'Ithaquas Bane'. Honestly this community is amazing thank you for what you do.
EDIT: So far I have made about 30 Bugs of varying sizes and types, an open topped truck and a strange model that had no instructions called a xenomorph that looked suspiciously Alien(TM). I printed the 37 page dropship and the pinzgauer but havent the gall yet to attempt them.
QQ if anyone reads this: was there a gaming system for the alien/bug models? The instructions mention Goliath Bugs and Bugwar a lot but Ive not found any useful results on google.

When you go to www.genetmodels.com/free-stuff/ , go to Fun Stuff at the bottom. That is where you find resources for the game Gun Crawl. You are mighty brave to go for the big ships. Build some of the smaller models first. uptrainfan89 is the one to ask about Gun Crawl questions. Have you discovered the Search function at the top of the page? Try 'Ebbles', 'Genet', 'Roe', 'Gun Crawl' or 'Guncrawl' and 'Bug Hunt'. Chris also has a Publishers sub-section here cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/board/134/genet-models-projects Welcome aboard!

Welcome. There are actually a few M113's out there. If you want to get a head start on designing your own, you could try AirDave's Easy Build M113. You can find it at davesdesigns.ca/dcc/html/easy_build.html

I'm an oldie returning after so long I completely forgot my old username and password. It's good to see some familiar names and faces. I'm a technical writer by trade, and a 3D modeler by hobby. The 3D modeling actually got its roots in papercraft. I've designed a couple of models in Illustrator, and now I work with Fusion 360 quite a bit. My next challenge is figuring out how to take a 3D model in Fusion and turn it into a papercraft model. I'm open to suggestions.
