Submissions for the Papercuts 2013 Showcase are due monday the 26th by the close of business hours. What time zone? I made poor use of my time. Then I had to learn how to sew, to make a renaissance faire costume. I just now got back from the ren' faire I can't do a great job with finishing my miniatures, but I hope to have enough time tomorrow to at least have something.

Alaska Time Zone. So, 5pm AKDT? That'd be 9pm EDT, 10pm my time; over in Europe it'd be (Tuesday Aug. 27) 1am BST, 2am UTC, etc. etc. That about right?

Quite honestly I probably won't be home until 8pm AKDT to make my, "Pencils down!" announcement. I'll be eating Thai yellow curry chicken until then.

That sounds like A LOT of Thai yellow curry chicken... Even I, the once-upon-a-higher-metabolism buffet queen, couldn't eat for thirteen hours straight, and certainly not just one dish

I know a few of you were looking forward to my Diorama entry this year. So was I. I really wanted a chance to share more of my interpretation of such great work... But I was unable to get enough time to create an entry this year. I've been working for several months to find work, and for the last few weeks I've been marketing my non-papercraft skills pretty aggressively, leaving only enough hobby time to support my weekend D&D games. I'd submit some live-play photos, but they contain plastic & metal figures and therefore don't qualify (I am NOT complaining about the all-paper rule...) Besides, you'll get to see the live-play photos anyway! :-) No one is more disappointed that I can't submit this year, but I'm SO excited that there are already at least 4 entrants in the category! Nice work gang! Looking forward to voting: OldSchoolDM {Pulling the curtain aside just a bit, I spent today launching a professional podcast: socialmediaclarity.net }

Prize moneys have been sent to all Showcase winners, I used the email you provided her at the CW forums to send you gift certificates through One Book Shelf. If that is incorrect please contact me ASAP so we can get it straightened out. Artistic prize donators have also been contacted with the victors names, everyone should now begin hounding them for their free sets and custom minis. Congrats again to all of you! Good year folks, in a day or so I'll start a new thread called "Going Forward, Papercuts & Beyond" or something hokey like that, to talk about the past Papercuts ventures (including this year and the previous two) about what worked, what could be improved upon, what portions of the guidelines need clarification or better examples, etc. By the members, for the members, and of the members.
