Hello fellow gamers. I have been watching some demo games of the game Flames of War over on youtube and have become interested in playing it. My problem is although I enjoy paper craft terrain and figures (I DM D&D 4e) I am not into painting models which this game requires. My question is this, are there paper models of WWII tanks and troops available? I have seen Lord Zsezse Works tanks and they look great but at the moment only a few are available. Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Imho there are not many good WW2 paper figures Arion Games ( Historical Miniatures ) have two WW2 sets ( germans and americans ). Dramascape has a very good set ( WWII Soldiers Germans & Americans ) I love Paper Tiger Armaments produts. There are paper soldiers and vehicles ( all in 1/72 scale ) Precis Intermedia, in his "disponable heroes" series, has a " Disposable Heroes Soldier Statix 1: WWII" with U.S. and german soldiers. But I don't like them very much because they are black rear silhouette ( or mirrored image, I can't remember very well ) If you like a a minimal visual approach ( only imho ) Junior General is filled with paper soldiers and ( two-dimensional ) vehicles. On WargameVault der Kampfflieger has some WW2 vehicles in 15 mm. scale You can find free ( or not ) 3D ww2 paper vehicles in many other sites. PaperPanzer ( links ) Fiddlers GreenPaper-Replika... ... Ciao edit: Also Paper Wargames ( but many other sites and blogs do it well, too ) maintains a good collection of free models that come out on the web.

Thanks for the links, they are great! I'm working on getting my group into this game so we'll see how it goes. I'll post pictures if we play. I forgot to mention two important links, imho. 1 - For ww2 paper minis ( need only minor changesand scaling perhaps ) there is the russina forum " Papercraft". In its ww2 section " The Great Patriotic War" ( google english transation ) there are two topics full of figures' sets ( only WW2 russians and germans ). " Red Army" and " Wehrmacht". There are dozens of sets (someone also in the other topis) 2 - I'm really sorry that I forgot to mention the beautiful WW2 Russian tanks by Lord Zsezse Works on RPGNow
