Temporum Oblitus means Time forgotten or erased or destroyed what ever ! It's the title of my table top war game and it's it full swing. Moving into stage two of development i'm now in the early stages of Beta testing having played a few skirmish missions and looking to esclate into full blown battles. You can follow my progression on deviant art if you want to amadeushopkins.deviantart.com and see a lot of the models I'm working on! However, for you guys only ( and because you've all been so cool) here is a free give away ! The Ruskin army light troops, the Brawlers , they are fast moving and hard hitting and now they can be what ever you want them to be in your game or you can wait till late fall for me to finish my game and get the whole shmear for 10$ u.s. it will be a PDF download and it will come with everything you need to play ! Rules , Codexes , dice , models ( including vehicles and creatures ) , terrain , templates , rulers and even buildings. the only catch is you have to print it yourself... lots of ink but without further Ado here is the Ruskin Brawlers ! ...

I think you hit the perfect amount of detail for paper miniature character design. Good distinctive outlines, easy to cut also. I like them very much. Just had to give them a heavier black border since I don't like to cut too much close to the figure.

Yeah, I'd like to see a heavier border as well. Very awesome stuff though!

thanks ! I am defiantly learning that what is good for an online comic isn't always good for paper minis. like my Gunslingers look really good on screen but I printed them up last night and they are just to dark and all the details just get lost. check it out amadeushopkins.deviantart.com/art/Frontier-Gun-Slinger-2-Color-402775010ok if I put a black border around the Brawlers wont that loose some of the detail like the hair and the legs? I'll give it a shot and see what I can come up with.

I can't post images right now, but when I get home I'll put the result of my black border brawlers.

Hi Aaron, first of all thanks for this set free. Thank you. Excellent figures, but you already know my thoughts about your artworks. And now that you have passed your equal-sided period I like them even more ( if that were possible ) And I dream of your old figures with a new back art. About this project. Surely by now you can already consider me one of your backers/buyers. About this ( and the next ) set ... I like very much the design, dark colors ... all. But, only personal taste iof course, imho a small white trim works better with dark colors. Or at least it could work better. Pasiphilo's Undead Skeletons 28mm Paper Miniatures (white trim)or Tomoko's "Steel Warriors"Finally, always just a personal opinion, in a paper figures' set ( 5/6 figures or 8/12 figures. It is not important ) someone ( one or two figures/character ) without mask or helmet, with a full clearly visible face can give more characterization to the whole group. Imho. Ciao Giorgio

Thanks for the encouragement Rhannon as always your ideas are insightful and push me to be better I like that! I can see a white borer around these guys working better than a black one, as for their faces I totally agree though these guys are actually apart of a comic that I do called Scrap Jack and their battle gear, for them, has very religions significance the arm wrappings and the masks are worn at all times in battle to signify respect to their god. All the Ruskin units have the same type of mask/helmet ( it's made of metal and has a targeting system in it LOL ) with all the other armies at least one model in every unit you can see their faces.

Very cool miniatures! The poses are awesome! They really invoke a feeling of movement. I especially like the charging character in the lower right. I can't wait to see more!
Sorry to be a little nit-picky, but I noticed the right arm (his left) wrappings on the front view of the top left character are missing their color. It looks like a fill of grey got missed and they stayed white... Other than that little change, I think these guys are really great!

It 's great to know something about this original setting and its background and lore. Thanks.
Many times I buy videogames' guides just to look at artworks and read about lore.

Black Border Brawlers I adjust all my minis in this format to print as photos in photography kiosks, that's why it's missing one of the figures, it didn't fit the space.
