The past several months have been pretty busy at DARKMOOK HQ preparing for the release of physical copies of the SURVIVAL HORROR TABLETOP GAME and the new ZOMBIE FIGHTER game. Final set component breakdowns and peripheries along with mock-ups of the final sets have been sent to the printers, and production will begin inearnest soon. It has been a long time for pre-production, and we have high hopes that the physical copies will be as popular as the downloads! Both sets are launching at Thought Bubble 2013 in Leeds, UK, 23 and 24 November thoughtbubblefestival.com/ We have also been working on some 'dungeon' tiles-basic bare bones corridor sections and rooms, with some door designs, to make up a game board ready to populate with your own scenery etc and not tied to any particular rule system. We are aiming to put these out at a relatively low price point and are working to sort out the final few details... For some reason I can't upload images (think it may be a browser issue) but images can be seen over at the DARKMOOK blog or FACEBOOK pages: darkmook.blogspot.co.uk/www.facebook.com/DarkmookPaperMiniatures

Hi Adam, I would like to book/preorder two copies ( one "SURVIVAL HORROR TABLETOP GAME2 and one "ZOMBIE FIGHTER" game ), three if the new game doesn't come out also as downloadable digital product. But you are like Dr. Who. A moment you are here and now you disappear into the phone booth. You to go back in time and you change the Earth at the same time. Where are the bio-panzer, the Horror Hospital Expansion, the "Merc" ... ? Sadly my group must have been killed on the road to Woodbury ... But you are a ( great ) author/artist, so you have to follow your feelings to give us always magnificent products. Tank you very much, Adam. Ciao PS: No fantasy dungeon tiles, please!!! ( modern, sci-fi, steampunk, ... but not fantasy, please again )

Hi Rhannon! Fear not, your group of survivors is slowly growing (3 at present) but was sadly delayed in their travels due to my back issues! The bio-panzer, the Horror Hospital Expansion, and the "Merc" are all still on course, but we are looking at a December release I imagine due to preperation for the Thought Bubble convention. For the dungeon tiles, the first set will be in a generic 'bunker' style-stone floor, concrete style walls, with modern and fantasy doors so you can pick how to style it! For future releases I was thinking a kind of haunted house theme, steampunk, and perhaps an apartment block for my Future Cops to patrol...

So the game components arrived for the DARKMOOK PAPER MINIATURES launch at Thought Bubble 2013. It has been a loooong 3 days of packaging, cd burning, sticker applying and cutting and sticking, with another 4 days to go! It should be well worth it in the end. Independant game companies don’t get much more small press than this! (If you are in Leeds UK 23rd and 24th November 2013, come and visit us at the Royal Armouries New Dock Hall table 135!) The SURVIVAL HORROR TABLETOP GAME set contains all the miniatures and bases and a full colour rulebook, as well as a cd with all the printed material and extra component files. The ZOMBIE FIGHTER set contains all the miniatures and bases,a full colour rulebook, playing tokens and high quality paper map board as well as a cd with all the printed material. They are priced at £12 and £10 respectively, or can be purchsed as a pair for £20 (plus p&p!) Once again for some reason I can't upload images (think it may be a browser issue) but images can be seen over at the DARKMOOK blog or FACEBOOK pages: darkmook.blogspot.co.uk/ www.facebook.com/DarkmookPaperMiniatures

Congrats! SURVIVAL HORROR TABLETOP GAME hard copy edition, a revamped and re-designed version of the popular print and play game! Do you plan to update the P&P game, or it will stay as it is?

Hey Parduz! No plans to at the moment. The changes are mainly to the look of the rulebook (and amendments from the FAQ) and the removal of the coloured door standees in favour of 'Unlocked' markers (which can be downlowded her darkmook.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/unlocked-door-tokens-for-survival.html ) Otherwise the content is the same, but with a printed rulebook, printed minis and a cd of all the files

Congratulations, darkmook! The games look fantastic, slick, and professional. You've almost swayed me to the dark side (not a zombie fan, usually). Good luck at the convention! May your sales exceed all your expectations

Hey folks! Well, the con went well (you can check out the Darkmook blog or Facebook page for photos!)and the response to the physical copies of the games was extremely positive! In other news, I have added a shop section to the Darkmook blog, which means that you can order directly through me if you so desire! We still need to sort out a storefront interface, so at the moment it is a case of sending your order, making the payment and then receiving the file transfer-not exactly instantaneous, so do bear with us! Check it out at: DARKMOOK STORE darkmook.blogspot.co.uk/p/darkmook-paper-miniatures-catalogue.html

So it's that time of year again, and as I have a new digital art set up I thought I would take the opportunity to rustle up this year's DARKMOOK Christmas Freebie, a rather ill mannered young lady with a love of mechanised infantry... I plan on packaging her with two weapon sets, and cards and bases for both ZOMBIE FIGHTER and SURVIVAL HORROR TABLETOP GAME. She should be available on RPGNow and direct from my DARKMOOK blog-details to follow!

Hi Colonelschofer-SHTG is a square grid system, with the Octagonal bases used to determine combat orientation. Hope that helps!
