heh.... i may have choosed the wrong word.... seems that there's some confusion about Elks and mooses At least here in Italy (if not in the whole Europe) that test became VERY famous 'cause at his debut Mercedes A-Class failed it very soon and so it made a lot of "noise" on the media (being the test MEANT to be failed, this means that A-Class failed it at a very low speed). Mercedes then changed something, added active suspensions and some other electronic things, and then beaten the media with spots about how A-Class was a secure car for about two years

Anyway, mine carts and earthquakes made me remember about an old episode of Duck Tales and I thank you for that, too

A work in progress for the Goblin Shaman's Den. I have to work a bit on shadows and on details to add. I have to say I'm quite happy of the overall look of this set, even though it's taking much longer than expected to complete it (we're almost there). In fact, aside from "real life", I'm currently working on three different projects that I hope can be revealed soon. I can say that one of them is a boardgame that puts in use all of these tiles and for which I'm drawing all the artwork. For example, this is one of the main characters: an "evolution" of the Wizardess starring in DwarfQuest.

Like the Goblin Shaman's Den tile. You'll probably have thought of it already, but maybe some dribbled wax around the candle clusters too? And the glowing runes - perhaps add some glow as if the lettering continues unseen here on the front of the ledge? Goblin magic circles not being circular is a lovely touch; only neurotic humans need those "perfect" rings...
Does Maga's featuring here mean we can look forward to a whole range of minis in a similar style (he asked hopefully)?

Ooooo! I love the skulls (nice touch) and the bones. I agree with wyvern - dribbled wax and candles...oh yeah! This has a nice eerie look. I like the lady wizard, too. very fetching. She's totally disarming because she's dressed so simply. So you wouldn't necessarily know until it was too late that you were dealing with a wizard! I, too, cannot wait to see more mini's of this style.

Thanks guys Yes, it would be nice making some proper paper miniatures (Endless Dungeon Denizens or something like that ), but first I have to understand how much work would go in drawing fronts and backs in that style for each figure.

Very nice. I love the multiple levels within the restriction of keeping the corridor-caves straight. Really adds to the interest, and retains a little of the difficulty of traversing/fighting in "real" caves in game-play too, without getting things too bogged down in such 3D concerns. Hope we didn't de-rail you (sorry...) from your mine set, which seemed to have been in progress longer than this rail-less caverns set? And that tapping noise is the sound of many toes waiting impatiently for the set to appear on RPGNow

Thanks, wyvern Hope we didn't de-rail you (sorry...) from your mine set, which seemed to have been in progress longer than this rail-less caverns set? Not at all As usual, every comment and idea helped me make a better work (or so I hope), so I can only be happy and thank you. Unfortunately, I couldn't follow every suggestion, but I will keep them for the future Anyway, in the set you will find both a cave system with rails (the mine) and one without rails (the "proper" cave), and all the means to connect the two "themes".
