Nice builds with clean photos. I agree about the PTA models, nice but a bit fiddly. I don't thnk I've heard of BPA before, what company is that? -Eric

Eric, that is Best Paper Models. They have some outstanding models. The Italy diorama is probably one you have seen on blogs before, and it is in the Free section. The Spice Fiero and the racing boat are seen in the blogs and link lists occasionally, too. They are also in the free section. Bob has the link on his blog.

Neat! I hadn't been there before, although I have seen some of those images elsewhere. Here's the link for people like me who didn't know about them; Best Paper Models

Paper Tiger models would benefit from slightly better instructions I think, both the Pz II and the Sdkfz 222 were second tries after I "tanked" the first (pun intended).

Nebeltex is revamping some of his older models at PTA, and he is striving to do better with instructions.

Nebeltex is revamping some of his older models at PTA, and he is striving to do better with instructions. I am glad to hear it and don't get me wrong...the models are fantastic and make complete sense once they begin to come together, but in some instances like on the Sdfkz 251 you don't see how some things fit until its too late, especially if you have made a mistake on a previous part (and some of the fit tolerances are very slight indeed). I spend a lot of time CTRL+ mousewheel on the pictures of the finished models trying to see how it all fits together when the instructions are unclear.

On a different forum, Darwin was doing a diorama using one of his oldest models, and Nebeltex was surprised he was able to build it, much less do it well. He realizes that especially the older models need better instructions. Some of the older models need to be revised. But he is working on it. Like most of the publishers in this industry, it isn't his First Job, so it takes some time. I would encourage people to go over to www.papertigerarmaments.com/ and check out what is available. Cool, the M3 Halftrack has been updated.

Yep, the M3 is my next project I think... Having the part numbers numbered where they fit would go a long way
