madmanmike, awesome entries. There is semi-offical limit of a few figures (just to keep people from submitting a whole army). I think a handful of models on theme will always be welcome (people often submit 2-4 figures and nobody seems to mind). As for the 2.5D idea, in the past some models in the hoard had little instruction blurbs written next to them when they were 2.5 D or 3D so I am sure that that can be done for this model. Both look really good.

Thanks guys. I'll see if I can get those extra lines added today. On the road to Charleston SC, should be about 10 hours in the back of the van with my laptop.

That Triffid belongs here too. Anyone remember where it was? That triffid was in Hoard #15 (Feb 2009). It is a set of 2.

I don't know if anyone else here is a Piers Anthony fan, but the Orange Adept would definitely fit the theme

Here is the first goblin gardener, Plowhands! (Hey, it makes sense to goblins...) As for gilius and the modern battle gardeners; I think the mower guy is great, the lady looks like she needs some hoses or something coming off of her sprayer but both designs are awesome.

gilius - I agree with zygrott24 about your lady gardener. Add a back pack and some tubes to the pistol and turn it into a weedkiller sprayer/flamethrower.... Give her a kind of Ghostbusters-vibe..... Just a suggestion though. Both figs are great as they are!!!

I was just thinking about you the other day josedominguez. And the pitch fork is perfect for the garden.

Around here we would call the tool with the wider, flatter tongs a turning fork, rather than a pitch fork. And that seems to be what we have here and it is indeed the perfect tool/weapon.

Love the gnome! Second the request for a fisher one! Fishing poles can be deadly weapons too!*
*And I have a story to illustrate that...

Oooh so do I, WackyAnne! You see, it was right after this big storm, and I went fishing off the dock and I ended up with a man on my hook! (PM me for details)

Brave Adventures - Don't want to unfairly criticise, but I just realised your goblin appears to have two kneecaps! One on the front of his leg and one on the back......

I think his knees are so knobby the cap can be seen from both sides.

My ex had knees just like that! And to think all this time I thought he was a troll! But, if he's a goblin, well that really explains a lot! LOL!

I love how he is holding the fishing rod (OF DOOM) like it is a pump-action shotgun!!! Those gnomes are great - though I am now what they would look like if they were given the Games Workshop (TM) "chaos spikey bits" treatment.......

I think this guy might be appropriate to this setting. Only catch is that he's set up to work with the Kev's Lounge bases (or the Reijav style ones) and thus the tabs are on the outside instead of in the middle. Also, he's got really a really thick border because I initially set this up for professional printing, laminating and hand-cutting by folks who weren't particularly skilled with X-acto knives. Releasing it here because I drew this guy over a year ago and I still haven't gotten around to releasing him, and with my papercraftdungeon time being somewhat limited with all the work I've got going on at my "day job" it could be another year before I get around to working on the set this was originally meant to be a part of.
