Need to get the backdrop re-sized (it's only $.80 at my favorite print shop) An enjoyable little build

That looks awesome! Where did you get the backdrop image from? What is it printed on?

Maybe you want to take a few more shots for the next round of the papercuts awards?

I apologize that I did not save the Wayback Machine link. I have a collection of Revoltech dioramas (for displaying the plastic figures) that I found in one of my Wayback searches of a link site. Using the '*' command and searching for 'pdf' I found eight or nine dioramas. They all have 'Tomy' and Japanese characters plastered all over them, so substantial Gimp work was required. After doing that, I printed these two pages on standard letter sized cardstock, leaving margins to use as connection points between background and ground. Next week, I'll email the print shop the files and have them done on 11X17. Also in the photo are Glenn's Tire Stacks and Oil Drums from F&T's Street Debris set, TommyGun's rework of Nothing's Outpost, and a couple of Nate's shock troopers. I still need to finish cleaning up the warehouse/hangar backdrop, the exploding star backdrop, the volcanic canyon. Some of the others will be considerably less useful. I'd post the files, but they are not my work, and I would have no idea who to contact to get permission to distribute EDIT: After a brief internet search, here is the link to the site: web.archive.org/web/20111111011818/http://union-creative.jp/revoltech/information/

Neat! Needs a real flight stand, didn't the Hummingbird come with a transparency stand and a ground shadow for a base? This would make a good diorama entry for this year, I look forward to more of these shots.

It did, but I'm out of transparencies right now. I was actually thinking of stealing landing feet off another model and putting it on this one.

I love the humming bird. I still have one floating around. Nice build and the backdrop is clever.

Vermin King: Nice work!
The backdrop reminded me that I used to have this really cool Robotech Factory model set when I was a kid--it came with a back wall, a floor, cranes, and a bunch of little vehicles and figures, and a couple of mecha models. I think playing with that set was what got me hooked on little dioramas and vignettes.

Firstly, apologies for drifting even further off topic. Secondly, it's not exactly the same thing, but Paper Replika make a bunch of pretty cool Patlabor Models including a Maintenance Facility that might make an interesting backdrop

Just need to find a way to dial down the complexity of the model for tabletop gaming use. If I could make these Patlabors with the approximated number of pieces that the Jotun has...
