I was curious about the Savage Worlds tie-in, slayride35. You're clearly still using the 1" squares for your tiles, but I wonder are they the d20 1"=5' or 1"=6' that I've heard is standard for Savage Worlds? I couldn't tell by quickly glancing at this map's preview, and it's not likely to make much of a difference for most gamers. Also, you're sticking to to figure flats versus tri-folds which other Savage Worlds publishers have standardized. While I'm not a modern-themed RPG player, I am glad that your SW tie-ins will be familiar and usable enough by us D&D&descendent players

Most of our older maps use a 1" = 3 feet from the earlier versions but our latest maps are 1" = 5 feet. 1" versus 5 or 6 feet isn't too much of a scale difference though. 5 feet is the standard for most games (DnD/Pathfinder), with SW having a slightly larger scale, but it has not affected our SW play when using DS maps for our group and likely would not affect anyone else considering that the maps typically run 32 x 24 inches, so that they are rather large maps. 40 x 20 for this one. At 6 pace its still gonna take about 6-8 rounds width or 3-4 rounds height to get across the map without running.
We used Trifolds in 50 Fathoms. Can't say that I am personally a fan. Seemed like we need a center figure to act as a weight or the piece tends to fall over. They do work well when laying them on their side to indicate shaken however.
Figure Flats are okay, I have been known to use ours on occasion for our games if they fit the scenes I am running. They can also be laid on the side to indicate shaken. I find that basing the Figure Flats with Foam Core is a lot easier than trying it with a tri-fold, there is not much of a purchase for a base to be added. And it really needs it especially in summer because a fan will just blow them right over.
I like our TopDownArmy miniatures best for SW because I mount them on foam core with the image on one side. Image up for an extra = normal, face down= shaken, and off the table means they have their 1 wound and are out the fight. So they work great for extras.
Big thing is Simon is familiar with creating figure flats and top downs, I haven't seen him do any tri-fold work as of yet. Not that he couldn't do it, but its a lot easier to layout a template you are familiar with (his standard figure flat layout of 12) than work on a new paper mini style/layout.

Thanks for the answers, slayride35 & dramascape. I am glad to here the formats will remain compatible with the bulk of the work produced here at the Cardboard Warriors, while you are still able to broaden and strengthen your customer base with Savage Worlds accessories. That bodes well for your company's continued longetivity; goodness knows you've got the productivity. I'd picked up a couple of individual sets before then buying the fantasy pack last June. Good for Deadly Missions, and they'll see more use once 3D Virtual Tabletop is finally rolled out. I don't, however, use your figures, because I just don't like CGI ones for the tabletop.
