"Git ready, Boys! We're gonna party like it's 1849!" Yeah, we are getting ready to release a new version of DEADLY MISSIONS, and this will be a whole new stand-alone game. We are breaking ground in a whole new genre, and this time we are bringing a couple friends with us. One is a close, and dare I say personal friend that I have down a couple small projects with, and the other is another close friend who helped on the GMG logo, and I have been DYING to work with. This is a VERY exciting release. Don't you worry none. Thar's still gonna be plenty of dragons, snakes and orcs that need to be slaughtered. Thar's also gonna be some aliens and robots that need put outta commission! Until then, grab your six-shooter and join the posse!

Now all I can picture is a dragon in a cowboy hat sticking his head out some saloon doors... Yeeeehaw!

Just a quick note. I have three artists I am working with on this. I will be doing a few different expansions (maybe not 15, but a few). There will be a couple maps (two different formats) that offer a couple options for game play.
I will give you more information as it unfolds.

I just got the proofs in this morning, and MAN is it AMAZING! You can tell by the detail and contrast in shading and light, that this map was made by none other than Nemo! We featured his map in the DEADLY MISSIONS Quest 3. Well, he agreed to knock another one out of the ballpark with this STUNNING map! The California Gold Rush was January 24, 1848. This setting takes place about a year after the hype died down, and people settled into areas in the west as they gave up on their dreams, or started home with empty pockets. As towns and cities grew, things like the train made living in remote areas a lot more manageable. One town, CRATER VALLEY, Nevada, was a town that grew from a one-horse town, into a thriving Metropolis. However, in it's early days, there were thieves and crooks that hid out in abandoned mines. They would pillage local homesteads and even kidnap locals for ransom. These were perilous times for the townsfolk of Crater Valley. When nothing else would work, a few heroes grew, and the legends were formed! Heroes that would dare go right into the lair of the criminals, and face them on their own soil! Soon, YOU will be able to relive the tales of legend with the newest sets of DEADLY MISSIONS! Stay tuned for more details to come!

This is exciting! I spent many a rainy Saturday afternoon watching Spaghetti westerns growing up, and a year living in the Sonoran desert (Mexico side) in my late teens. I'm ready to saddle up!

Well, Deadly Missions 2econd Edition is out there, so back to work. Nemo did a fantastic job on the next map, so I figured I better step it up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Attachments:

Well, since the PORTAL has been opened, it is possible to visit other dimensions, universes and alternate time lines... Like the Wild West (with a little Kiladecus flair). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Attachments:

I am planning on doing these four characters as a set for the Fingercut Awards (if I can finish them in time)!
They are "The Four Jacks.". This is Smilin Jack, the Jack of Spades (which represents death). I am not going to tip my hand (so to speak) just yet, but I have the concepts and names worked out...
Clubs ... The gambler Hearts ... The con artist Diamonds ... The thief
They are all going to have a steam punk feel as I transition into a more traditional western style.

I don't know which element is my favorite: the metal kneepads or the leather sleeves.

Well this post is a triple-threat, so to speak. I had a request from a friend on Facebook for something I was already toying with for Deadly Missions: Crater Valley. Plus, if I can finish it in time, I will submit it to the Fingercut Awards. Here is the first part of the Water Dice Tower. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Attachments:

This really exceeds expectations. A stunning model from an idea I wasn't sure was possible. Every wild west town should have one.

You know me... Easy and simple. It is very sturdy and works pretty well (as long as you don't put more than 5 dice at a time).

Back on topic... I am working on the figures for the core set. okumarts is going to let me do a Whiplash Trigger expansion, and I am working with RevGunn, as well. Nemo has done a breathe-taking map (as always). I am hoping that this set will be as much fun as I am expecting it to be. Here is the first of the heroes, WHITE FEATHER, a shaman.

Kila, she looks great! I can't exactly say why, but as soon as I clicked for the larger image I was charmed right away. It is nice to hear RevGunn's name again. I always liked the eye he brought to the wild west. That is quite a talented team you have brought together. I will be watching with interest.

Thanks, CBL. I have few talents, but one of which is knowing who is the best at what they do, and figuring out how to work it all together.
This is a hard genre to do correctly. When you do a bunch of humans, it can seem boring, or quickly go over the top quickly.
There is a lot of 3D models to support this, so I nought I would be the first to tap into is as a dungeon crawl.

Any chance of some Mexican Werewolves? Vaquero costume or poncho, big hat, lots of guns and fur. It kinda fits with the Hispanic heritage. Just another crazy idea
