I really wanted to read the comments of those who this set is primarily addressed. Turned character or not? This is the first forum of drawing individual minis Statistics downloads goes - all means normally downloaded.

Why thank you very much Kimerlin - I feel honoured indeed!!!! Lovely figures, though I never saw myself as the knightly type. Especially as you have the horse wearing the royal standard of Scotland - King Mike, anyone??? (I'm very much a working class, proletariat boy. I would have been one of the peasants fighting with a billhook in the front lines I suspect. Either that, or buggering off back to the farm as soon as my betters' backs were turned.....)

Wow! Kimmerlin, this is amazing. Thank you, very, very much.
Dual wielding swords! Excellent, that was my preferred weapon style in the one MMO I've played and loved (Saga of Ryzom, if anyone remembers it). Even that MMO didn't often have armour anywhere near as functional looking. I've particularly admired your chainmail textures before, so it's nice to see them on my mini. I love the fact that she looks just as strong and capable as any man - she'll make for a great paladin! The hair colour's spot on, though it's been a while since it was that long. I'm proud to wear my country's emblem - and I'm glad you got the leaf right this time ;D
Thanks again! I can't wait to show this to my boys!

It is lovely work, Kimerlin. I suppose we are now going to have to refer to WackyAnne as Dame Wacky Anne, now? I mean, after all, if she's been knighted... ...'tis only proper.

I really wanted to read the comments of those who this set is primarily addressed. Turned character or not? This is the first forum of drawing individual minis Statistics downloads goes - all means normally downloaded. What comments you want, Vadim? You know that I really like your figures and that I think that their drawing quality is improved very much in less than two years. In the dozens of figures that you've drawn in the last few months I have found only a couple of small mistakes. Maybe less. So I have no comment to make on their artistic and drawing qualities. About "my" mini. I really like the figure. I like even more the ax ( I prefer two-handed axe, because, as Druss says, if you have to kill a man with a two-handed axe you must know that you must die Anyway, I'll try to survive even with ax and shield. ). I love the heraldic symbol. Turin is a beautiful city, imho. Today this city is 2042 years old ( probably before it was a celtic/gallic village ). So it has a long history of battles won and wars lost. Art, literature, industry ... ( Turin - English WIKI ). So ... thank you very much again, Vadim.

I had to wait until I got home to take a peek at these. They're really good! One thing I would love to see people doing is at least throwing some registration marks on their sets (free or otherwise!) because I (or someone like myself) will surely make cutfiles for them. www.dropbox.com/s/l0mwc9arp5yn9yb/reg_mark_layers.zipThere's all you might need to make a layered PDF with the different kinds of registration marks. Now, giving someone nothing but adulation won't help you get better and better. I'll try to offer some criticism, but understand I think these figures are really nice as they are. To give the first figure more of a sense of depth, perhaps make the legs that are in the background a little darker than the ones in the foreground? Also, along the bottom there could be some evidence of the barding hanging down on the back side. That would help with the illusion of more depth. I really like how the emblems on the figures chests blend in so nicely with their stance, their accessories, etc. The M Proteau figure's legs are a little disorienting. It's hard for me to tell easily which one is in front of the other. I know the back started as the front side flipped, and that's just fine with me. You did a nice job working from there. If the legs were overlapped a little more, it might make it that much more obvious. Oh - in staring at it, maybe it's the shading you've added to the tunic. It kind of makes it look like the forward leg is in front of the back leg, and that is confusing my brain. Really, just minor things. I haven't had much of a chance to make standees lately. I'll do up some cutfiles for these and share them with you. Thank you for your generosity in sharing these with the forum.

mproteau, I understand what you mean. Should darken the far leg. I did not see it immediately. To do this, and ask to speak to avoid similar mistakes in the future.
colonelshofer, thank you. I posted the link in the first post.
All, Thank you very much!

squirmydad, will behave the same way and you'll draw I am very fond of this forum. I've been here for about six years. Me here is very interesting, although it is difficult to communicate without knowing English. I lose a lot because of the language ...
