OK. I beg your forbearance here, but yesterday was so special I have to share (read brag).
First my Sweetie made me breakfast in bed. Next my neighbor and best friend brought me a bag of Mega M&M's (my weakness). Then I had a surprise visit from my oldest step-daughter and she brought the grandkids to visit. They brought me a bouquet of purple carnations and a handmade card from the grandkids. And then I got this great video from my daughter. I don't seem to be able to share it here, which is weird because I can still access it from my dinky phone. Oh well.
In short she said that because of what I taught her -to love learning and be excited about it and to make curiosity and knowledge a part of everyday- she is the person she is today. And she said that that was the greatest gift anyone has ever given her.
Do I need to tell you this made me cry? My daughter, Nisha, is my greatest gift and I thank God for her everyday.
I am richly blessed.

That does sound like a wondrous day. Mother's day is our traditional day of planting. In the past we've just done starters inside the house, this year we've been getting 80 degree temperatures and planted everything outside, we even planted corn, which is usually a non-starter up here.
