Tanks, for the memories. This is a model tank that is is easy to build and works great in your superhero games and similar modern era stuff. It is pretty lightweight A great guy by the name of Falcon01 designed the basic generic tank and posted it on deviant.art. I got permission to post my modifications. The original called for using a drinking straw for the tank barrel. It worked if you split the straw and rolled it in on itself. The first variant is the M-IV Herman Tank. I have a tan one, too. I'll try to ship it over before midnight. The third Herman is a customized model, the Lil' Devil. Hope you like it. These pages are 96 DPI PNGs set up as 7.5x10 inch pages. That should be pretty easy to print for anybody. Someday I would like to be able to save to PDFs. Still working on it. Not there yet. Imagine if all three Herman tanks were just one, three-page PDF with layers! Happy Christmas to one and all. Merry Hanukah to those who celebrate that. The solstice has passed, but we are still in the Season of Yule, so peace and good cheer to those who keep those ways. It is a sacred time to so many of us, what ever our beliefs or customs, so however you keep this sacred season may you be blessed. If you want a tank model for the Procrastinator's Hoard, here are four and more are coming!

MS Paint? Accomplishing this in paint is awesome. Well done!

These are pretty sweet. Do you have any pictures of their final construction?

I don't have any pictures yet, but I will try to get some. I changed the original design by adding the details on the hull and suspension, the machineguns, and by using a smaller object to wrap the main gun around. The original design called for using a soda straw there, too, but it was simply too big to mount in the gun mount that way. My personal favorite is the bamboo skewer. The commander's guns are often casualties of the slightest storage mishap. You can't stack these if you mount commander's guns on the turrets. Of course, nobody said you have to store the tank hulls and turrets together. The suspension on these tanks is based on that of the M4 Sherman tank. I also have some done up with the hull details somewhat different and the suspension based on the German Tiger tank. Once I clean up the directions, I'll post them, too. If you want, I can do a Soviet/Russian version, too. I've got five or six of these built, some decorated with nose art from aircraft to personalize them. When I can borrow a camera, I'll shoot them for you. They are a fun and quick build. They are also surprisingly sturdy.

When I can borrow a camera, I'll shoot them for you. If you have a relatively modern smart phone, you don't need to borrow a camera. Cell phones take amazingly good pictures these days, at least as good as small, point-and-shoot digital cameras. Give it a try.

BlackCat13 if you can make T-34 look-alike, that would be sweet. For the camera, the jeffgeorge is right. I use the 40usd Chinese smartphone from aliexpress, and the pictures it takes in good lightning are more than enough. In poor lightning... well, it was only 40usd.

Fellers, I don't know how to break this to you, but I not only don't own a smart phone, I don't own a mobile phone of any type at all. I don't even know how to use one of the modern ones that doesn't have buttons. I have epilepsy and can't drive. I am not safe to go off on my own because I suffer from confusion occasionally when I have seizures and might get lost if there is not a friend or family member there to watch over me. It is terribly embarrassing to admit, but I'm not up to date with graphic software or modern technology. I do most of my designing by hand first, then on paint. I can use GIMP to do some simple things, but most of my work is done on MSPAINT. I have a terrible problem now that Yahoo mail went to being a phone app. I didn't realize that my wife had canceled service to the landline that I submitted as a mobile phone number since I didn't have one and when I forgot my password to my email account I tried to use their recovery service and they promptly texted my password to the disconnected phone. I tried half the night to find another solution through their automated recovery center and every complicated trail led to them texting my password to that disconnected number. Apparently, I am the only man in the USA that doesn't have a cellular phone or a credit card. Personally, I really don't want either one of them. My wife has them. They don't seem to make her any happier.

I'm sorry about your health issues. Frankly, Bruno from Scissors and Planes and Dave of Koolwheelz fame don't use 'sophisticated' graphics programs. I think they both rely on msdocs to do their designs, but I wouldn't have a clue how they do that. Would your wife take photos for you?
And I agree, credit cards and smart phones don't add to happiness, but they are handy

I hope we have not offended. None of us wanted to be pushy.
You could look into the "f.lux" software, I use it to change the lightning on my PC&Phone screens, the strong lightning is giving me horrible headaches and nausea. If you do long sessions in front of computer screen it can help ease the eye strain.
On any new design you make, if you wish I can make a few color variations, to reduce your workload.
We all appreciate the effort you've invested to share the models with us, and the fact you managed to produce them in MSPaint is an achievement by itself.

I've got a filter on the monitor to help with eyestrain and I'm sorry if I sound like a cranky old man. The computer keeps prompting me to download security and windows updates for my non-existent smartphone; and everybody I deal with these days insists I have a cell phone number, even the VA. I use GIMP to make color variations, which is actually kind of fun. Since moving to the city, paper modeling and gaming has occupied most of my time. I have two huge plastic totes filled with paper models that I use in gaming and numerous plastic and cigar boxes filled with paper miniatures. Many of them came from the forums or from products sold by forum artists. I have shared some of my best designs with you but there are a lot of less shiny ones on my hard drive that still need a lot of polish before I can share them.

I am also "smart"phone free. I am sure all the antiquated (5 or 7 years old!) technology around me is going to die someday soon and I will face a huge learning curve with whatever I buy to replace it.

Finally, ladies and gentlemen, Blackcat13 does not have a cell phone of any sort. I do not have a tablet or a lap top. I have an old desk top that I keep running on diesel fuel and vacuum tubes. I do over 90% of the work I do on the paper models I do design or convert with MSPaint while wearing reading glasses I buy at the Dollartree. My wife has a cell phone. My 3-year-old grandson has a cell phone. I'm not responsible enough to have one. I lose too many things.

Yeah, I've got four of those and I think they are one of the first things I built. They were easy builds and very sturdy. They have been through two moves and are still intact. They are great fore modern, near-future, and science fiction gaming and make great stand-ins for armored cars, swat vans, APCs and so on when you don't have exactly what you need. I think the MultiTruck is a great model.

Sorry to keep you waiting, but here are photos from my last gaming session. The party entered the deserted cabin and found that it had, in fact, been a laboratory used by the outlawed wizard. It was not, however, unguarded. While they were examining the materials he had left behind, a group of orcs he had hired to guard the lab in his absence gathered around the lab and announced their presence with a volley of sheath arrows. The orcs were well led and the leader possessed a magic battleaxe, so their morale and confidence was high. The party was led by a wood elf and had two half-elves in it, one of whom was a ranger, so the possibility of a peaceful outcome was highly unlikely. Fortunately for the party, their gnomish illusionist, Daisy Granitofsky had two Colorsprays memorized. The battle was quick and decisive. A couple of the party members were wounded pretty badly but all of the orcs were slain. The party gained little treasure from the orcs themselves save from the leader's magic battleaxe, which no one in the party could use. In the laboratory, however, the found a trove of evidence against the outlaw as well as information on the hybrid creatures he is creating. The orc figures are David Okum's Orcs & Goblins Set from Dungeonmaster's Guild the buildings are all from Dave Graffam, and the furnishings are a mixture of Soaring Raven and Ednic. The trees are from various plastic dinosaur and army men sets, but they are unstable and prone to falling over if the table is bumped. I have been building up a number of paper trees with heavy bases that are more stable. They are real ink drainers and take up a lot of storage space due to the bases, but are very stable and look great. I just don't have enough yet to replace the plastic.
