mproteau (Paper Realms), Rhannon, wildagreenbough and others... I will say this. You are wonderful! Once again, sorry for my spelling (I'm not good at this)... Regarding my blog... My site is in my native language because I want convince his countrymen to cardboard figurines. I know that google translate isn't perfect translator. Fortunately, our common language is our hobby.

Hi again. This is my army of undead ( LINK). What do you think? I would like to point out that I will plan change my design of figurines (in the link are old projects). I very like style 8rad and labrat. I want not their to copy but only benefit from their experience. Soon more information.

I think they look fun! (And that's one of the things I like most about Dryw the Harper's figures!)

Undead and necromancers looking great! I really like the standing necromancer figures and the emerging skeletal arms. Does the latter element mean we could see more undead pulling themselves from the soil as well? And the half-crouching attitude of some of the skeleton warriors is exactly the type of fighting crouch you'd expect to see with real combatants.
When I first looked at the images, I thought the standing skeleton at the right end in the first photo had a crow perched on his shoulder, maybe as if pecking away at some last fleshy remnant, but on looking more closely, I realised this was actually the top of the head of the kneeling figure behind him! However, it did occur to me that maybe a crow or two (or similar black corvid birds) could work alongside these figures as well - the tilted angle of that standing skeleton helped give the impression he was under such an "attack" in the first place.

wyvern, you have good idea and I must take into account such solutions in new projects. Thank all for your appreciation.

LINKHere's new design which I announced previously. Simplification of figures. In the magnification looks average but after reduced and printed is ok. What do you thinks?

Should work fine, but perhaps the sample's armour needs some tweaking. Its war-gear looks a little too pristine and complete for a skeleton to be wearing. Maybe some rust, wear and damage, and some missing pieces, would help?

I wrote this on your page, but I'll repost here:
I like them! Non-human skeletons are too often do neglected, so it is great that seem dwarven skeletons. I also like the cartoony drawing style, as it will fit better with the mana OkumArts & OneMonk (in particular) minis I already have.

It would be useful to add some extra branches to the trees for a more 2.5D/3D look, I think. From some of the poses, I guess it's just a matter of time before we see some of these trees walking too...?

I'll think about it. Although I prefer the 2D models... They are elements scenery. At the moment - Ents and spars (apologise for translation) does not provide.

What do you think about two variants design? LINK-PAVARO Studio (first image). Which is better?

This is difficult. The left mini looks more the part of a vampire lord, with his gaunt face, red eyes and fangs, but the boots and head seem over-sized to me by comparison with the body. The right figure looks too well-fed - face shape is rounder - but has some interesting colour additions with the higher cape collar (which I think looks better than the smaller collar on the left figure) and the boots. The green eyes seem less striking, however. The hang of the cape on the left figure seems more natural than that to the right (which more "open/billowing" look also makes him look fatter, though his body shape isn't).
So, my opinion is I'd prefer a mixture of both minis!

So, my opinion is I'd prefer a mixture of both minis! I wanted to get the effect of reducing the silhouette, while retaining the imitation of natural proportions. Green color will symbolize decay and death. This color will be leading the race of the undead. You given me food for thought. Now I have a problem because I do not know what I have to keep aspect ratio.

I agree with Mesper. The minis art is really good, but the swamp at present just looks like a cutout has been dropped onto a differently textured sheet of paper. As an abstract piece of art, it's fine, but as a representation of an area of marshland, it just doesn't work right now. I'd suggest a Google search for images of marshes, bogs and swamps, because they should give you a better idea of how such places look under different lighting conditions and in different places, to help you get the colours, textures and overall blending to look better.

Thanks for recognition. Regarding the swamp. I want not create real texture of swamp. I think about texture of a'la cartoon. Bright and "warm" colors. Some examples; 1 example, 2 example, 3 exapmle, 4 example, 5 example, etc. rpgnow.com has the texture of the logo that I mean. Exactly it comes to the word "now". It has nice for eye effect drawing.
