Jim suggested it in the other thread: female stormtroopers. I made a few inked sketches, again the figures are only loosely based on the stormtrooper design of the Star Wars universe (I can't remember where I found that skull pic on the net... it was in my folder for reference pictures and it seems to fit). Imperial Storm Troops - the elite soldiers of the Imperial ground forces and crusaders of the Galaxy's "New Order". Of course, true stormtroopers are not only perfect warriors, but also perfect ladies. ;D

Your not offending me, Jenny's art is fantastic, much more talent than me. I really struggle to natural lines and flowing clothing and such, so color me impressed. My stuff still looks to stiff in comparison.
I like how you are slowly evolving the perspective of your designs to work in the paper figure format. I think you will also find that figures look really cool with the flat horizon for the feet, it makes them look like they have solid footing.
You could definitely be making money doing this. Although it is a bit of work to do full sets. Just limit yourself to eight figures per page and you have a commercial product. JIM

Thank you for the project board, Jim, and thank you for your comments, guys! I think you will also find that figures look really cool with the flat horizon for the feet, it makes them look like they have solid footing. The flat horizon for the figures is indeed cool and maybe the only way to make miniatures look right... by being miniatures the drawings already became part of the 3D word, so there might be no need for additional 3D touches by perspective drawing. Well, that's just one of the design tricks I slowly become aware of. There are so many things for me to learn. If you have a second can you see about doing some modern lasses - ladies of adventure/Zombie survivers etc. Alright, these girls are on my to-do-list now.

Just a short status report: I've done the sketch of the backsides, though ink is still missing. It will take another few days until the figures are two-sided, colored and ready for download.
