Recently I came up with the idea of new base for the figurines. Here is link to my blog with this idea. The material used to this is a styrofoam tray (I hope that I well translated). What do you think?

It is great idea. Is this way is good for 30 mm minis? Your example is more pure.

The two limitations I see for using this in 30mm are: - I glue the mini to the base, but in 15mm scale they do not take much space. In 30mm keeping a fixed base would take more space. - The cutter I use to make the circles can cut ~2mm EVA but no more than this. I am not sure if such thin base would not be a little "floppy" in larger sizes, as it is a lot less rigid than styrofoam. Maybe glueing it to thicker cardstock would make this work.
I think Hackbarth had posted something about making bases of thicker sheets of EVA, cutting a slot into them as you did with styrofoam, but I cannot find the thread right now.
