This is one of those characters that I usually take as a role when someone asks to play a Sci-Fi game. She comes in many variants, but this is one of my favorites.
Two years ago, Helena Vasquez was the sole survivor of an Interplanetary Marines battalion, deployed on Luna to protect the D.A.R.E. Labs just days before what later became known as 'The Phandora Incident'. Terribly wounded and scarred in her soul, she underwent many surgical and medical procedures in order to reach a full physical recovery (she also had a bionic arm implanted) and never said a word about what really happened on Luna. Once reinstated in the Corps though, she quickly proved to have an alleged survivor's guilt and a well documented death wish, so in order to avoid having her as the protagonist of a new military scandal, she was honorably discharged and sent back to Earth.
After that, we lost track of her for almost a year, until she recently resurfaced working as an Independent. Apparently, she had a MemoBox implanted, so she can act as an Infocarrier for the highest bidder. We still can't exclude she is part of the TerraNova terrorist group.
This is my design and one of the few times I haven't been parduzzed, so I feel like flying without a net
Unluckily I couldn't get the chance to use a proper camera, so I had to cope with the one in my phone and I had to slightly adjust the two photos in terms of Light/Contrast.
Anyway, you can download the miniature here with her own base, drawn for the occasion.
cowboyleland: I am thinking now that it coincides with about the time I downloaded an add blocker. I wonder if it is killing the cookies that used to keep me logged in. Anyway, not really a problem.

Vermin King: I use CCleaner every day to clean the oddball stuff that collects on my computer, which would clear out things like that any way. But usually, I stay logged on all day until I do the clean-up

cowboyleland: I've been asked to log in every time for a couple of weeks now. I didn't used to have to do that.

cowboyleland: Did Proboards get rid of the "Leave me logged in" button?
