What I kinda miss is WHY we are voting for particular figs... Anyway being restricted just to 3 minis I'd opt for: 1. Nemos's " Helena Vasquez" for SUPERB(!) "post-punk" feeling, quality rendering'n'colours and light/shadow effects, then some face-mimics (lips mostly:) when enlarged! OK even if IMHO this figurine lack some movement/dynamics... still solid #1 =>>> Now... imagine more SCI-FI/POST-APO minis from Nemo - JUST.CAN'T.WAIT !!! 2. Madarchitect's " Daria" OMG! C'mon... she is not THAT scary! What's really scary is... the WORLD OUTSIDE (HER!) !!! I'm almost feel sorry for her... but she (most probably scared to the death) just did what was needed! (Oops just imagine your favourite chick slaughtered?!? But SERIOUSLY: perfect face/mimics, quality blood effects and - most important IMHO - overall "the-day-after" feeling, simply amazing! =>>> Madarchitect => Master of Immerse! 3. 8'rad's " Amazon Princes" Very "cartoonish" one - which is not a drawback by any means - in fact reminds me some of mine's favourites among comics/manga classics:) Back to the mini: sort of both(!) reluctant and dynamic pose - IMHO PERFECT! Then I really like well defined/straight lineart (kinda manga-like ligne claire) and simple but consequent flat-style colours as well! =>>> Great work - so me/we want/need MORE please?! These are my favourites, however I do like also Brave Adventures Black Chimmaera Mercenary fighting pose and metal-shimmering light-effect as well as Gilius Storm Cyber Mage cloak shadows! Anyway - really great work here! THANKS!

Feel free to comment about what you like. I know designers always appreciate feedback on their work. Far be it from me to tell you how to pick your favorite.

I really like the weapons, clothing, colored base and equipment of the Black Chimaera Mercenary. Scarlet and gold (the colors of the Marine Corps) is also a great color pattern!

I really liked this years entries in all of the categories. I'm glad to see good stuff being created and shared, and it was really hard to pick which ones to vote for. I mean it. You guys and gals made it hard, and thats a good thing!
The only thing that I see worth mentioning is that some entries arent edged. Not in this category, as they all seem to be pretty much edged, and certainly not all of the entries, but some aren't. (Its not a requirement)
Personally, I love the way an edged model looks. When I see an edged model in a photo on here or at Rpgnow it makes me want to buy it. Edging makes it look finished and clean.
Some people don't like doing the actual edging or have a physical issue and prefer to skip that step, and if that's you, great! They may also be new to the hobby and haven't gotten that far yet.
We all build models the way we prefer them, but for me it makes a world of difference in the finished product, especially colored edging.
That being said, I want to congratulate everyone that entered this year. Great job! This will be a nice collection to build.

I agree, and I edge EVERYTHING I do. But then again, it comes down to personal preference. I agree that there are some phenomenal things out there. Everyone did a great job,and I said this before, but the real winners are the people that get to download all of these submissions for FREE!
