Sorry for the repeat, but I mentioned this in my thread about my cycle miniatures, but felt it deserved a mention here too. I've found an amazing new alternative to matte photo paper. I've switched to Hammermill Color Copy Digital Cover Stock. It's available in 60lb and seems to be almost the same as matte photo paper. The benefit is that it's available in 250 sheet reams and is way cheaper. For example: Staples has matte photo for $11.49 for a 50 sheet pack, or $.23 per sheet. Digital Cover is available for $13.99 for 250 sheets, or just $.06 per sheet! Six cents for matte photo paper quality!!! I've even seen it cheaper at other online stores, but Staples lets you ship to your local store for free. I use it in my inkjet printer with no problems, but I haven't tried it yet in a laser printer...

Uhm, yeah... Maybe see if you can find a sale? What do you use for your model construction?

Just whatever I can find at a reasonable price, usually some form of 180-220 matte paper although the brands I pick seem to torture the cutter... I posted the link mostly for laughs, at least the shippings free

Isn't this the same paper that Chris Roe used to stock in his shop?

Isn't this the same paper that Chris Roe used to stock in his shop? Yes it is! He had a super supply deal that he offered near the end that I took advantage of and loaded my shelves with good quality paper and cardstock.
