The theme for this months HOARD is Christmas Wars This can be any sort of miniature on the above theme or feel free to submit miniatures off theme. If you submit a figure, they must include both front and rear art, have a proper trimming outline, and include instructions for multi-part models. Recolors and figure mods are encouraged, and even uncolored designs are welcome. No nudity or sexuality, but bloody gory and horrifying is encouraged. If you have questions about how to design your figures, like formats, resolution, and stuff like that, see the HOARD GUIDELINES in this forum category. Entries for the Hoard will be accepted until the last day of November, 2014. "There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found, for when they placed it on his head he began to torch the town..." ~Excerpt from the Frosty Chronicles

Definitely worth checking the old Calvin and Hobbes strips for inspiration I reckon..... That's what I was doing today and I saw a better design for the mouths, and for a two-headed mutant version.

I've updated the previous pdf with "Frosty the Avenger" and a snowzombie in stealth mode. That's it for me for this Hoard, still two weeks left for other folks to chime in with gingerbread catapults, snow fort-bunkers, snow-golems, or the residents of Christmas-town.

Sorry, I let you down. I'd planned on doing an 'augmented' sleigh, but I'm not close to being finished

Should at least make preparing the hoard fairly easy for you - as you already have them on the one pdf!!

I think technically these should be snow golems. But I like them anyway!

ok so I really want to contribute to the Forum Hoards only I don't have a lot of time to do that as I am juggling T.O. and Splinterwoods and now their are more people counting on it than ever sooo I tried something today you can tell me if you think it's worth continuing. this is the one hour model! I give myself one hour to do a model from start to finish, once the hour is up I put the pen down as it were and get back to work on the stuff I'm supposed to be working on. this means it's going to be ruff with lots of errors. My first 1 hour model is (acrually an hour and 20 minutes I wasn't really paying attention LOL ) the Ent Christmas tree ! I tried to make it match the other stuff in the Christmas wars line and so without further adieu here it is!

That's a good use of an hour.

Thanks I have a formula that i will take 40 minutes to do the front and 20 for the back (since the back is just altering the front). I like to do weird stuff and I thought a rampaging Christmas tree would be funny and cool ! I was going to add rabid squirrels but I ran out of time.
