Starting a thread for these 15mm core sets im working on. Very much in concept stage but the idea is to make a number of free core war gaming mini sets with cheap add ons regiments etc on rpgnow. Core set should provide all that is needed for a battle without the high cost of some base plastic sets =). Aiming to have some infantry, archers and cavalry for each. Here is the basic idea 8r

I think this is already a step beyond "concept stage." And they look really good.

Not that I am way to overexcited or anything... Cheers fella, oh yes plenty plans for the big uns. The base sketches for the 15mm are all at 28-30mm then reduced. Undead very much on the cards at both scales. Working on getting equines down but slitherines release of warhammer 40k Armageddon has slowed progress some =)

Yeah would like to do a tutorial, I would like if someone got some use out of it. Been working loads on the 15mm orcs, humans, undead, elves, goblins and dwarfs on the drawing board. What was troubling me was what people would need 15mm regiments for?, to small for skirmish and rpging but being more a wargamer than a rpg-er i really want to do a wargaming set. After following many dark paths outside of 90's GW I found a cool wee game called hordes of the things and it loves 15mm. So I have set about regrouping the 15mm into base sizes for that. Still rolling with the free core sets and supplementing them with booster sets around $1. Heres some sketches of the core sets (i have orc and human horse done as well) 8rad

They are beautiful! Injury that they aren't in 28mm scale. Still got plenty 28mm plans =), its just a case of select and enlarge to make them 28mm then vector the lineart over the top.

Actually, i could help you to color them if you run into any time problems. My stuff is over at www.braveadventures.comHey thanks for the offer, but well in to that already. However that said would not mind working on a wee side project with you BA guys. Checked out your stuff, looking really good (the cultists are my fav) and learned allot from brave adventures in general when i was researching how make paper minis. Could do a small band of undead lineart at 28mm to run with you guys if you like. PM me if you want to work something out. 8rad

Now the core sets are all but done I have started on the booster sets. To bolster the ranks of the undead 2 elements of zombies, on the right standard zombies and to the left plague zombies. Line only still to workout the colour for them.

You are a very kind and generous person, 8rad. Thank you very much for sharing these wonderful sets for free. They are really gorgeous figures. Is there any chance that you transform them into 28 mm. commercial sets?

Thanks guys =) they were really fun to do and happy to see people enjoying them =). Defo aiming to step some of them up to 28mm, the plague zombie started as 15mm before stepping them up.
