Hi Aaron, this is a great product, and it is accompanied by gorgeous art. So I don't understand why it has difficulties to take off. Surely I will attend to it ( even if I don't really need six t-shirts. If they aren't NYPD t-shirts. I love NYPD ) I think that some add-ons and stretch goals could help your project. Also the project's time could be more. Imho. Some commissioned paper minis would be interesting ( as okumarts' project ). Finally, I don't understand very well, only my fault, the pledges' levels. 75$ pledge: ... a basic terrain set, dice tower ... 100$ pledge: ... all above and one t-shirts 150$ pledge: ... an advanced terrain set ... Why all digital game products are not succeeding? Ciao and especially good luck! . You and "Temporum Oblitus" deserve ( worth ) so much.

Thanks Rhannon !! well I think this time around it was pure timing !! I launched it on the worst possible day on the worst possible 2 weeks of the year! I was also expecting some support from some people that, to date, are no shows sooooo I think if it doesn't work out this time around I am going to step away from Kickstarter. Kick starters require a lot of work just to manage the Kickstarter and are almost a small business in and of themselves. Also to many people are really looking for a nearly completed pre-order scenario and are no longer interested in funding ideas and fledgling companies. this all adds up to to much effort for not enough return.
I think I'm going to start a grass roots gaming group and build a community of players the old fashion way. Slowly build the company and then when I have a highly polished product with tons of money and time to put towards an add campaign .... I won't need Kickstarter any more so really I think they are shooting themselves in teh foot as it were.

<...> So I don't understand why it has difficulties to take off. Perhaps because this is kinda "top secret" one? Vide: " About this project Click on this link to download a basic play rule book" Problem is that this basic play rule book links (both of them: cover pic and direct) are bad - at least for me - tried with latest versions of IE, Opera and FireFox... " This webpage is not available
Unable to look up temporumoblitus.com."

I know we were moving the site but I was assured the new link was working ... I shall contact my web guy and find out what happened?
the old site had no bandwidth and the host stop caring so we moved it. This whole second kickstarter kind of blew up in my face from day one. you wouldn't believe the technical things that have gone wrong. We have a great product and a solid game but were lacking any kind of marketing or advertising campaign and it shows. I'm a game developer not a marketer but it's falling in my lap to do all the marketing and I don't know (and if were completely honest here I don't want to know ) anything about marketing! I really don't like it. Sadly we prepared for a few months to put this kickstarter together and run it but we tripped out of the gate and now it's just kind of falling apart. We've been spending more time on getting the kickstarter to work than actually working on the game and the company. I told my backers if we spent that kind of time and money working on the game it would be done by now and we wouldn't need a kickstarter. Plus I think the advertising were getting from these failed kickstartes is the wrong kind and it may be giving people the wrong impression about our capabilities. that's why I told my crew that after this one win or loose no more kickstarters they just aren't worth the effort for us. At this point on kickstarter you have to have an established market, you have to have a solid video presentation and you have to have a solid (nearly ready on the shelf )product.
so win or loose I think we need to start first by building a community of players and from there we build a brand image that's positive. Once all that is done then we start branching out with internet sales. I mean right now we don't even have a functioning website. that really needs to be our first priority ! LOL ok I'm done ranting and going to bed it's just after midnight and I'm done for the day.

Yup, now it's working - though IMO rather slowly. It's 19 pages and 48,7MB - dunno, perhaps it's worth to change some PDF parameters (compression ets.) so resulting file would be smaller still acceptable quality?

consequently why were you voted off the island? Figure of speech from the reality tv show "Survivor". My mom's book tells the story in more detail but basically the ranching venture crapped out and he didn't want to spend the rest of his life as a mechanic, so we packed up and moved to Homer. There my parents purchased a hotel made up of a bunch of little log cabins called, wait for it, "The Logtel Cabins". In Homer I was introduced to actual "television", all two channels of it. Keep thinking happy thoughts Aaron!

Thanks Ryan you Rock!! I was actually expecting something completely different this time as certain individuals from predominant gaming companies said they would back me this time, otherwise I would have totally not done this kickstarter, needless to say they didn't and I haven't herd from them at all ... I'm blaming the holiday season and chocking this one up to experience. but hey! Ryan are you still in Japan? I would love to get my rule book translated into Japanese as well as get some blind testers out there! if your interested shoot me a PM and I'll try and get you everything I have, so you can set up a group if not then... I'll not do that LOL!! either way thanks for backing me!!
