You might be able to use this for a little extra 3D detail on top of paper models and terrain. Like if there of vines on something, draw over them. Then smudge a little ink on the new parts so it doesn't look too out of place. Or maybe you could use it on the back side to add some extra strength. And that just made me want to see if hot glue will add some strength to a floppy model.

I'm also thinking it'd be great for bowstrings, horse reins, etc.

Seen some videos of the original version in use... Got the impression it takes quite a bit of practice to get good results out of it. All the same, it does look quite fun to play with.
