I will be purchasing this for unfolding my 3d models, I played with the trial...really wonderful piece of software. Just curious if anyone here uses it. I know many use sketchup for this purpose I believe.

I used it a lot before I switched to using a Mac for my personal machine. My remaining PCs have problems running Ultimate Papercraft 3D properly because they had onboard Intel graphics that couldn't handle the way it deals with large textures very well.
I like it a lot, but I'm kinda biased because I had a lot of input into its development early on. I basically handed Brad Bolthouse my dream wishlist for a professional papercraft development app and he managed to deliver almost all of the features I asked for.

I played with the Demo but i finally liked Pepakura better because Ultimate Papercraft does not seem to be actively devloped that much.
FYI: I build in Sketchup, unfold in Pepakura and do Textures in PS. So I have no issue with low-res textures in the standard Pepakura version.

Wow, that's really interesting Christopher. Thanks for the reply.

Im quite sure they just updated last week with a 64bit version along with other fixes. I cant use Pepakura as resizing models to exact dimensions doesn't work (at least for me anyhow). Thanks for the input.

I use it on every model I produce and have since it came out. Great product. In all my years of using it, I had my first real problem on Friday with some gables. It's worth every penny.
