(Well 18 at least) After someone on the Facebook page asked about who did dwarves, I went on a bit of a cut and edge frenzy last night and thought I would post the results here. A comparison shot in there as well. Figures from Avalon Models Adventurers set, Gwindel's fantasy collection (I printed the sheet at 80% because the humans on it came out *huge* when printed on A4, but the dwarf now looks a bit on the small side compared to the others here), Okumarts' Dungeon Adventures freebie, printable heroes, 8rad and Permes (this last one is a "giant" dwarf according to its base). The printable heroes one from his Dwarven Tavern set ( printableheroes.tumblr.com/post/104682666492/updating-the-old-dwarven-tavern-set-to-the-new) along with the barman! Essential for any dwarven warband - think of him as the quartermaster.... Like his bugbears, I have printed these at 150% so I can scale them with others when cut out as "proper" minis. The okumarts one, along with the male and female variants from the Darkfast Dungeons basic set (I think?) 8rad's Dwarf kinsmen set. A lot of fun to build. Will do a proper review of these. The full warband.... (Can you tell someone bought themselves a new printer recently....)

These all look great. It sure seems that you are getting some enjoyment out of your printer purchase! Would you be inclined (since you already have the info) to write up a "chart" that suggested what percentage to print the various sets so they all end up compatible? It would probably come in handy for others some day. If you are looking for more dwarves, there are some in the Hoards. There is a set with rectangular shields with little squares in the corner. Off Topic: I LOVE the little glimpses of Edinburgh we get in your pictures. I recognised it right away. I met a beautiful red haired girl on Skye about 25 years ago and a few days later we hitch hiked to the festival in Edinburgh. We got a room with a view like that. That was the first place we . . . anyway, we're married now.

And as cowboyleland spotted!! ;O) And I am already working on that table/chart, I think the Avalon ones need bit of a boosting for a start. Will let you know what I come up with.

OK... back to dwarves Well I know -- dwarves are supposed to be fantasy creatures! But even so there is no evidence-based raptor-mounted dwarves pics... perhaps except this blurred one? Hmm... not sure about YOU but I'd like to see more sharp (perhaps even full 2-sided figurine with some accessories) version...

Did a few more dwarves last night for the warband/mob..... Did some more of Gwindel's - this time at 90% as I thought the one previously was a touch on the small side. I don't know if it is just the limitations of my print set-up (and IT knowledge) but currently I am having to take the jpegs from his site, print them to pdf, and then print the pdf at 90%. I have no idea what size/height the original artist ment them to be at.... The one second from the left is from the first set. I have also left a touch of white card underneath the bases of the new ones to boost them up a bit higher - so their "footline" is more in keeping with my other minis. Here is the old (left) and new (right) sizes alongside an okumarts dwarf (my go-to standard). I also printed off Nemo's set. On a test print I thought these looked very petite versus the Okumarts ones (especially the humans) so I printed it as big as I could while still keepingthem all on an A4 sheet (116%, I think). As it is, I think I maybe overdid it slightly.... Probably better around the 110% mark. Although obviously far less cartoon-style than the others, I'd still be more than happy for him to share the table - they are such fine minis!!!!
