Yeah, I like my women with a bit of meat on their bones, otherwise I would have thinned her out a bit.
I'm working on kitbashing a K'Kree now...

Yeah, I like my women with a bit of meat on their bones, otherwise I would have thinned her out a bit. She looks fine fine fine! The male just needs more bulk and hair, and maybe a bit of height. In my opinion, of course. I have been playing Traveller since the early 80s, so I have some pretty specific ideas of how things *could* look.

I'm working on kitbashing a K'Kree now That is a major geekgasm! K'kree are hands down my favoritest aliens EVER! You ever try to play a K'kree merchant in the Imperium in a group of non-K'kree characters? Awesome fun!

I'm sad to say I've never played.
I just went off the art I've found online.. anything that looked like the style I recognize from the early 80's..

My suggestion (not that you are obligated to take unsolicited advice) is to make the K'kree "profile" figures, with a left and right instead of front and back. But that is just me lol

Ugh.. life is dragging me down.. I'm a social introvert, I do fine with people as long as I get time alone to recharge. However, since the transmission dropped out of my car last month a friend has been gracious enough to loan me his truck, so when he comes over on the weekend to hang out with the family and help my son build a shelter for the cats, I can't refuse. This means I haven't had a recharge for several weeks. But, on the lighter side, I've been running games at work. Our newest resident is a somewhat high functioning autistic who loves Ben 10 and a the superhero genre, so I introduced him and his housemate to Heroes Unlimited. His housemate is an experienced gamer, so his character creation went a bit more smoothly; He rolled a 4 years of college education and poured his skill selections into being a cop. The other gamer has done the same, but only got a 3 year college background, so his skills aren't as high to start. During a demonic attack on Century Station, both of the cops responded to the scene and saved several civilians. Sergeant Baxter was critically injured in the line of duty, and submitted voluntarily for an experimental procedure to heal his wounds, but the side-effects left him with metallic wings that regenerate the feathers he throws. He became Angel Blade! While pushing a civilian out of the way, Officer Teller was trapped under a collapsed building. As he crawled through the rubble battered and bleeding, Teller collapsed on top of a demonic staff-weapon. When he came too, the weapon, now drenched in his blood, was glowing. Sitting up, Teller realized his wounds were healed, and upon picking up the staff he was transformed in to Demon Blood!

This is what it sounds like when doves cry... because there was no K'kree standee...
Seriously, well done on gaming at work. My guys at work were not high-functioning enough to do anything like that.

K'Kree will take more work, and time is fleeting. Here's a couple of soldiers I'm working on though..

My own K'kree project went onto the backburner as well because now I am fully committed to Star Trek (TOS era) for both gaming and model creation...

So things have not gone great. The transmission gave out on my 2001 PT Cruiser at the end of September. A good friend loaned me his F-250 until I could get a new car (transmission would cost more than the car is worth), and he also introduced me to a friend who was moving back to China and had a 2009 Toyota Corolla for sale (valued at $7500, selling for $5500). Unfortunately my bank of 20+ years wouldn't loan me the money and that ship sailed. Now I'm still driving this diesel guzzling pickup on my daily 50 mile round trip to work and have no opportunity to try to get a car again until after our tax return comes. This has destroyed my productivity on the creative front, so I'm waaay behind on the Rifts Board Game; Kev was gracious enough to pay me in advance for the piece I'm working on now, and that money is now also almost gone. But I'm not complaining. I have a beautiful wife and three awesome kids. I live in a very nice house. I have a great job where I'm appreciated by all. Sunday we took a bag of gifts for an underprivileged 12 year old to Church who had asked for books and games, and I gave him one of my copies of Star Wars D6 RPG 2E, along with dice and a mechanical pencil (and a link to the archive of out of print modules). I only have to work 3 days this week, today through Thursday, and Thursday I'm starting my shift by seeing Assassin's Creed for free. All things considered, my life is good. Have a Merry Happy Holy ChrismaHanuKwanzDiwali! Oh, and here's a throw-together, a contemporary or sci-fi Mercenary named Gwen.

Good luck with it all and Merry Christmas to you, too.
As far as the genre that you mostly work in, I was wondering if you ever watch Killjoys on SyFy network. Okay, not the best show ever, but it might be a source of inspiration.

Okay, not the best show ever, but it might be a source of inspiration. I have the entire final season on my TiVo, just haven't gotten around to watching it.. I enjoyed Dark Matter more, and am very much looking forward to the next season of The Expanse.

I probably didn't give the Expanse enough of a shot. After first three episodes, I decided to watch something else. I take it, it gets better

I was hooked from the beginning.. But I really dig the most neglected scifi period, near-future space.. I am really fascinated by intra-Solar System, hundred-years-out, semi-plausible SF like The Expanse, especially when it has a strong political flavor. My only complaint about that series--which I watched all the way through, and can't wait for it to resume--is that the first season didn't have any kind of conclusion or even much of a cliff-hanger. It kind of just stopped, leaving me feeling like there was one more episode coming. That being said, I really love most of the SyFy series these days, including The Expanse, Killjoys and Dark Matter, but also The Magicians. I also miss Defiance, though I respect the decision to end the show after what happened in the conclusion to the third season. In a similar vein, don't miss Mars, on Nat Geo--a very cool mix of drama and documentary about how our children will colonize the red planet. Which leads me to a reading recommendation: Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy (Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars), which follows humanity on Mars from colonization to independence to terraforming and beyond. Fascinating read with compelling themes as well as an engaging ensemble of characters. Robinson's trilogy shares a lot of DNA with both The Expanse and the current Mars on Nat Geo, but less so with The Martian (the Matt Damon vehicle). But to to back up Vermin King , your minis would work great in a Killjoys campaign (or Dark Matter, for that matter), both of which are almost perfect setups for RPG gaming (an ensemble cast with at least some united of purpose, and episodic adventure structure within a campaign-level story arc). But then, so was Firefly .

I've red the K.S.R. Mars trilogy, loved it. Haven't seen the Mars series on Nat Geo though, I'll have to look that up. Right now my 3 terabyte TiVo is hovering at around 20% available space, so I've got a long way to go in clearing out my shows before I commit to a new one.

A tiny peek at the Rifts Board Game I've been working on: From the Lucky Dragon Chinese Restaurant & Strip ClubBoard designed as 16 unique 11x11 tiles with a one inch grid to be placed on standard battle maps (at least one of which will be included). Game will also include highly detailed plastic Rifts miniatures.

Sorry I haven't done much here lately, I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off..
I'm down to crunch time now. I've got to finish the tiles for the Rifts Board Game by the end of February; that leaves me approximately 3 days per tile. I think I can do it, but it's going to be tight. I did the cover for Rifter 77 last week, and I think that will be the last thing I do outside of this project until March.
Wish me luck guys!

Ugh, Board game dragging me down. Today I bought the D20 Traveller url=https://bundleofholding.com/presents/Traveller20]Bundle of Holding[/url] special, several books in .pdf format for a very low price; It inspired me to finally try to nail down a body shape for the Droyne. Obviously the base of the tail needs some work, but I think I'm pretty happy with this one.

I am not familiar with these, but the figure looks balanced. It looks like it could exist, and that if it were standing there, the pose looks like a comfortable stance

Or what ever it is that is used for the suit. This will cover the transition from the body to the tail and still give a visually appealing look.
