I did the Canon Falcon for a friend for Christmas. Almost made it to May before Gracie the retriever retrieved it from a shelf that was evidently too low. Now it is headless and legless with a lot of underbelly damage. Here's the original, a couple shots of the damage and my page of replacement parts. Wish me luck (plus I need to make time for a couple more of Dave's Koolwheelz models) The reason for the Koolwheelz models is a contest for a squashed penny, cutandfold.info/cutandfoldforum/index.php?topic=506.0Okay, more for bragging rights. You should check it out if you thought about building any of his models. davesdesigns.ca/cutandfold/html/koolwheelz_paper_models.html

When I first read about the damage I wondered why you just wouldn't start over, but I see now. I'm sure you can get this looking spiffy again. Best of luck.

I've gotten the torn pieces removed now. Should build the head and underbelly. Luckily the underbelly piece is marked where wings and shoulders attach. I'll cut those sections out and the piece should overlay quite nicely. Legs and feet will be built normally and attached to the new underbelly

Well finally got back and did this last night. Prepped for surgery... And surgery completed...
