Thought i might have a crack at some 3d minis, just waiting on tools and green stuff arriving. Any of you guys tried sculpting ? if so any tips.

I've made about a dozen or so, but I've never used green stuff, only super sculpty

Have a warm glas of water at your side. Greenstuff tends to get sticky. with a little water you can also flat out any fingerprints.

water is a must if you work with greenstuff. makes good nice fingers and greenstuff softer.

water is a must if you work with greenstuff. makes good nice fingers and greenstuff softer. Just used it for the first time, lol your not wrong. Built the structure with milliput, which i found pretty nice to work with. both wet and dry. Started to put GS arms hands, chainmail....eeeuck. the stuff i guess demands practice and patience. Order up some super fine milliput see how that goes. 8r

Back on the green stuff, pretty good fun. Aiming to see some of my paper minis go 3d =).

Dude I think its scary that you are that talented in drawing AND sculpting. Whats next? Do you play any instruments and paint those minis whilst juggling with rulebooks that you write? Greens looking good! Have a nice weekend Y`all

Greens looking good! Have a nice weekend Y`all Thanks fella . Sculpting is not that different than drawing im finding. 36" strip of green stuff arrived today and ordered up some smoothing tools. Mold making in the pipeline, not told the mrs about that yet lol.

if you have any dental technitians at hand...same tools. What they drop as roughed-out tools is fine enough for us.
