Work outside of modeling has been in a constant state of "busy" over the past couple months. However, there are several new projects drafted out for possibly the rest of the year. First up is a simple, yet elegant design, the Cartographer.

Very nice design. Your models are a pleasure to build and display.

This'll be going in New Elysium.... What I'll use it for I've not decided yet, put it's far too nice to neglect. :-)

Thanks for the compliments guys! I'm currently working on the test build and have started some of the textures as time permits. Originally this was going to be a single-layered kit, however, I think having multiple textures to choose from is in order.

Not that you'd tell from my pictures Jerry, but if you do decide to go for a single texture, my vote is the beams/ mock Tudor. :-)

Thumbs Up!! The geometry is great, as usual. I like layers, I like to choose from options and build variations...

As an update, the Cartographer continues to move forward. With the test model successfully out of the way, texturing has begun. Recently the focus has been creating new windows and giving the plaster more of a 3D look. There will be several brick styles to choose from as well. This preview shows an up-to-date compilation of those textures.
