This popped up in one of my newsfeeds, it's a bit of a step beyond papercraft, but does has some ideas that can be applied a far as adding additional details. Besides, how cool to make a shiny shiny metal Delorean! ( unfortunately the template links aren't posted with the video yet) Delorean from a Pepsi can.

I have built stuff from aluminum oven liners I bought at the dollar store. It is fun stuff.

Over at papermodelers.com there are a number of the guys that build their aluminum can models using papercraft templates. Some of those are really good. There are others that use paper model airplane templates to do their RC planes. One time I saw a site where a gal used papercraft templates to make stuffed animals/pillows. I wish I could find that one again. I haven't done any sewing since I made my son a bunch of GI Joe stuff. As he is now 25 years old, I guess it was almost 15 years ago Hey, found the guy's website with the soda can models, www.sodacanmodels.com/I'll still have to look around for others.
