I got some pretty \good news today, I've been accepted to start a new job starting early next week! This will allow me to start recovering financially! The downside is that it might slow down my papercraft designing pace a little bit, but never fear, I have too many ideas bouncing around my skull to let this drop!

Hoping I can do more than just buy ink and paper squirmydad! I'd like to ( in the near future) add a robocutter ( and possibly some additional software) to my developers tools...

Robocutters are a fun accessory, go with the Portrait unless you need to cut enormous patterns.

Been there, know what it's like. Papercraft and this community got me through the lean times (especially last year.) A hearty and empathetic Congratulations! Good luck at the new gig!

Me too, been there, got the t-shirt... A few years back, I was out of work for just over 2½ years. Making models from the likes of dagobahdave was one of the few things that helped keep my spirits up.
Congratulations and good luck!

I'm not planning on stopping designing eran... The idea of doing a shipyard especially has the designer in me going, working out how to do a skeletal ship under construction is very intriguing.

I knew "they" couldn't keep you down. Don't beat yourself up if you don't manage to do much papercraft in the next little while. Paper will always be there.
Cheers!
