So, just a few thin gs that occasionally manage to pull me away from papercraft, assisting family members with fixing their projects.. First off, dad's 1956 16' Century Resorter Ski Boat: This I've done various thing on, from assisting with pulling and replacing the engine ( twice), making new seat cushions, carburetor adjustments, transmission adjustments, just to name a few.. Then my youngest brothers first classic bike A 1974 Harley Davidson/Aermacchi Z90, general mechanical and electrical rebuilding, plus making the custom leather cafe racer style seat with removable ( snap on) rear cowl: And most recently, my brother's second classic motorcycle, a 1965 Honda C77, fixing electical wiring harnesses, modifying new mirroes ( threaded shafts on the replacements were too long, so used my cordless bandsaw to trim to a proper length) and assist with the new seat cover:

Haven't done any car rebuilds since the '90's, but get called on to assist with electrical issues or whem uncommon tools are required

I started to draw. Like draw more seriously. For one to get my skills up to par for making paper figures (so many inspiring things seen here) but also because I just loved to draw when I was a kid. You can give me feedback on papierschnitzel.deviantart.com if you want. Or kick my lazy drawing behind when I am just that :-) Right now I am drawing when watching DVD's and also when watching tutorials on specific topics. The biggest challenge seems to be that the analog drawing skills are not 100% transferable to a digital tablet. I have to retrain or fine tune the basics like holding a pen and being able to draw straight lines on a tablet which I have no problem with on a piece of paper. The other thing I am working on is my body (after having two disc lapses in the last two years). Too much work and time spent on computers taught me to get some rest and that I need more maintenance with age :-)
